Mauraders and sents are MEAN. CC and invunerability. Plus I knock back and they just jump... Well I try not to knock back unless they already jumped.

Humm I was going to type the classes I fear but there is no class that I just dominate 1 on 1. I dominate people with 12K HP but no certain class. Against a good player it is 50/50. Stealthers hurt bad and Mercs/commandos are mean. If warriors have their jump up I am gonna get hurt as well. I do best when the other team does not notice me :P

GOOD Marauders will put up 500-600k dmg in a huttball without any pocket healer assistance... and most of that is *single target* damage.

Compared to that 600k AOE from a sorc is very tame.

There is one common factor however, if you know someones a wrecking machine, you shut them down by focus fire... 600k dmg marauders become 200k dmg marauders PDQ when you focus fire them on sight... same with Sorcs..

Basically, Sorcs just arent OP in PVP. Every class with solid burst damage can kill them *easily*.. starting with Stunlock Operative/Smug and "Pyro" BH/Trooper. They have utility.. and they are great at huttball, but beyond that they are knows simply as "targets"

Don't discredit AoE too much I can insta cast 2 back to back. With my marauder friend we have dropped 3 people with the quickness...

I challenge you to find a marauder/sentinel that will do 500-600k damage in a huttball without a healer. I haven't found any other marauders on my server that can beat my damage in PvP although a few are very close. With Annihilation spec I've gotten around 450k in huttball and 530k in Voidstar in my best games. I haven't found anyone else that has broken 500k damage with Annihilation spec and without a healer in any WZ let alone huttball.

I've literally never seen even a screenshot of a Marauder doing 600k+ damage. I've seen someone get around 570k in Voidstar using a pocket healer in Rage spec. He basically went around the entire game having heals bombarded on him and just AoEing with 4k crit smashes on big groups. The best I've seen someone do with Annihilation spec in huttball is around 480k.

I have to disagree with you. You said that people gooing 31 points in one talent tree is gimping them self. You are absolutely wrong.....The hybrid spec isnt good for pve, cause the highest hitting skills hit op to 5 npc or 3 npc. That isnt good for pve, cause of all the cc'ed npc around.

its great if u can aoe the **** out of mobs in pve, but mostly the mobs are cc'ed. Hybrid is only great for pvp for bursting. I see no problem people specing hybrid for pvp only, to have fast burst.

You are wrong about people dying alot more as 31 point spec in a tree then hybrid. Thats really ********! Balance is the best spec for cc and kiting in 1on1 and sametime can use some points in telekinetic to get improved shield.

Its really simple if u dont focus the hybrid spec sorc/sage in pvp and u let them cast what they want ofc they will do alot of damage. But focusing on them they cant do much, compared to a 31 point balance spec that can kite and survive better and run while casting dots that do alot higher damage then hybrid spec dots. Hybrid spec you sacrifice crit %, survivalbility just to do fast burst with relics op. There crit % chance is lower and doesnt crit that offen, only when all cds is ready.

Best spec for pvp for 1on1s and survival and kiting is balance. Hybrid is only good if u wanna be retarded and do high numbers when cds are ready and relics. Focus a hybrid and they are dead easily compared to a 31 point balance spec that can heal better kite and survive better.

Ive been testing hybrid spec for 3 weeks now and its nothing special then fast burst with high numbers when cds are ready. After that is just Zzzzz low numbers.

U are looking really wrong on this.

balance spec i did about 450k in a warzone.

hybrid i did so far 500k in a warzone.

If u can imagine ive done 450k damage to players single target killing. Yes thats how good the dps is while having good survival and kiting skills.

Hybrid does alot of damage cause of aoe procs and aoe. Hitting many targets without any stoppin them, but in 1on1 their damage would be REALLY **** if they only single target the whole fight because they get focused on by a assasin or agent :P

So if compare them while both spec get focused on alot balance would win big time!

Problem is there is alot of sorc and sages in this game, so there will always be 1 thats gets away with full nuking and aoeing and ends up with a high total damage number. A high totalte damage number doesnt mean they are any good, just means no one stopped them.

I love DPS sorcs because they aren't healing. They have tons of utility but are super squishy. I blow them up on my assassin.

The only people making these WAH SORC/SAGES threads are people that just hit 50 and if they're not, well you can read all of the threads making fun of how terrible they are for losing to a sorc/sage.

When you get geared and learn to interrupt force lightning, you will realize you were an idiot for posting this in the first place. (All of that hybrid doesn't save them for ****, they are glass cannons.)
