As of now imo its a 7 + 0.5 for effort (they are trying), so a 7.5.

with 1.2 it will probably go up to 8 and maybe with future updates it could go for a solid 9 or even a 10, we can only hope .

Emperor has no clothes, guys.

Why are you even here?

Everyone here (except that guy from Ugonda with a floppy drive) has had pretty solid opinions. I'm not too surprised but I am a bit impressed with the thoroughness of what some of you said. Thank you all for contributing, it was interesting to hear all your opinions.

Claiming to fix inconsequential things 10
Actually fixing inconsequential things 3
Fixing consequential things like exploits (mainly pvp) 0
Fixing broken story missions 0 (my BH end story is still broken).

The frequency of patches is ok, if they worked!

I think their priority of adding new content over actually fixing what is broken first is astounding.

SWTOR rating - 6/10

Bioware effort to improve the game - 7/10

Bioware is really putting forth the effort to improve upon their game but sometimes they channel their energy into the WRONG THINGS and end up creating an even bigger mess. My complaints which is how I'm deciding upon their performance comes from my gripes about the game in general:

Overall structure of the game - Dailies, weeklys, flashpoints, gear grind, pvp grind, Sit in fleet. Questing was fun the first time, second time it was alright, third time it was meh now it's *spacebar, spacebar, spacebar*

-The structure of this MMO is really nothing different than others out there. As a matter of fact it's a direct copy to some.

Incredibly long load times - Especially when I quit game it takes about 40 seconds of my computer zinging to get my pc to a workable state. Play BF3 and it's fine *shrug*

Terrible game performance - Especially in warzones. Also the ability delay, even though it's been touched on quite a bit is still there. This shouldn't have been there at all. I remember multiple threads of performance and delay in beta threads yet it still went live.

Small lifeless linear worlds - Everything feels static and empty. You don't ever see what you've changed in game. The NPCs are doing...nothing and the monsters all look pretty harmless.

Dull crafting; boring talent trees - This is a huge pet peeve of mine. I love looking over talent trees and seeing how as you level up get cooler and cooler talents. Not here its the same old tired "increase/decrease by 'x' percent" "Reduces cooldown by 'x' time" with the occasional "cannot occur more than once every 'x' seconds"

Everything here has been done before in other MMOs. The way Bioware implemented everything is essentially the same. Only twist was everything has voice overs. Not enough to make it a great game and stand out. If you're wondering yes I have cancelled my subscription. It has roughly ten days left before it runs out. I wish Bioware the best and hope everyone enjoys their time. For me I will not be giving this game my money.

I don't know how many times this needs to be said but...
There are separate teams working on fixes and patches and new content and pvp so on and so on. It is a very large team and too many people working on the same thing can be as damaging as too few working on the same thing. So new content coming out does not mean that bug fixes are being neglected.

Yeah, 7 or 8 out of 10 for me too.

I'm quite impressed with the launch and with their promptness in responding to genuine problems that affect (or will affect) the bulk of the population.

Fingers are still crossed for the MMO part of this MMORPG, but it's looking good, the RPG side is mostly spiffy, they just need to polish up the MMO side to get ready for the bulk of people ambling to 50.
