Source? Did yellow posters said anything about that sort of thing being implemented? If that's the case then I welcome cross-servers wz cause everyone would be happy but if that's an urban legend and nothing more then there definately should be implemented an option to choose whether you want to group with people from other servers or stick to your own.

Simoon: Will you be adding the option to choose what Warzone you enter a queue for?

Gabe Amatangelo: Not until we introduce cross server queuing. If we were to allow players to choose their Warzone before they could queue across servers, then it would negatively affect how often every player would see a Warzone – and for every player that loves a certain Warzone there is another player that hates it. The population would end up divided by their Warzone choice, negatively affecting the time it would take for a specific Warzone to become available for anyone. With cross server queuing we will still have a preference to match players of the same server, but those players who choose specific preferences such as these will likely end up in a match with players in the larger Wargroup.

According to the quote, it'll be built in the feature. System will prioritize people from the same server when putting groups together but if you choose to queue for example only for Huttball, you'll be more likely to have people from other servers in the group.

I'm fine with such system tbh.

Agree with OP.

Sadly, even if this thread became 50 pages long with 80% against it, it would still be implemented.

Threads and posts ( like this one I'm typing ) just get lost within hours, deep in the cul de sac of garbage, filled with nonsense like " Nerf this clas " ect ect
It is not the East or the West Side. It is the Dark side.

Well i doubt that this thread will be 50 pages and i doubt there would be 80% individual posters against it. Im also sure that BW knows whatthey are doing and that forums doesnt relate to average players which makes these threads meaningless.

We can't have an MMO (MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER online) game if we take away the community.
Do you realize that the "other mmo" had the same system Bioware is using now? If it wasn't for Huttball players on the larger population side of a server could easily have pvp queues of an hour or more?

I find it amusing that people suggest that Bioware not copy the successful features of Wow, err, "that other mmo", but instead copy the failed features of "that other mmo". Larger pools of people _benefit_ pvp, not hinder it.

The community argument really doesn't work, simply for the fact that the player base is fragmented across zones, not interacting. If everyone generally parked their toons on the spacedocks or capital planets, that might be a more compelling argument. As it is, the design of the game itself works against community building.

People are making the huge mistake of thinking there are only 2 options, cross server or no cross server.

You can have cross server warzones only between only 2 or 3 servers at max that way the community doesnt suffer that much.

For example you can have Juyo share queues with Sith Wyrm if there arent enough players for a warzone, but only those 2 servers, so you always see familiar faces.
