Sorry not a game breaker it keeps the game dynamic and prevents certain players from dominating and anticipating the matches thus just rolling same players over and over as they force players to quit or join the large guilds. Yea for preventing game manipulation and forcing players to actually have to play and not being able to predetermine outcome of pvp matches because they have stacked the teams and guilds for pvp. I say bring it and let the games begin!

As I'm sure WoW's vibrant server communities would attest, if any existed.

It made PvP community much bigger and made much more people well known and created much more "challenging" fights against premades. In Vanilla there wasnt really an PvP community. Just few marshal and warlord teams meeting couple of times a day while stomping pugs in 6 mins in other games.

You did not play during vanilla.
Or your server sucked, as one of few.

In vanilla it was even to such an extent that the raiders with there set items and some with their legandaries even had an substantial edge over the regular folk.
You'd get demolished by the same groups or win with the same groups.
Depending on your battelgroup you might have been still in a bad position, but because you always meet different people, the chances were always more or less fair game.
Atm I keep getting demolished by the same imps every time and occassionly win from the same imps, there might be one or 2 different people every no and again but mostly the same. If I were imp on my server Id be laughning my *** of now for a bit, till I realise that its way too easy and its boring. It's so bad that by the time I got my daily done, they themselves already finished the daily 2 times over if not more.
Getting the weekly done in 1 day its quite possible for them and I'm sure everyone knows that bag reward wise thats great.

Are you kidding me?

On my server you use to know all the horde players as alliance, as you always saw them in BGs. When cross-server BGs were added, that simply stopped being the case. Any rivalry or sense of community vanished.

Actually i did, and gainer rank 13 with it. Our marshal group was tight and familiar but cross server BGs, arenas and RBGs opened lot bigger community for real PvPrs.

I'd rather not have them, I have come to know the ppl on my server that I kill, and kill with
very well....

I fully support cross-server Markets though.

1.2 makes valor rank worthless pretty much. The new War Hero gear is better than BM, and can be worn by fresh 50's

I think it's pretty funny that the pvp server players don't want to be in the same games as the pve server ones. Just because I don't care for being ganked by you and five of your buddies while I'm questing doesn't mean I have no pvp experience.
