Just like we do now even on a high pop server?

There's a whole lot of delusion going on in the counter-arguments here.

And nice bias against pvp there, you're opinion on grouping and group play is valuable.
The main problem is the huge flip-flop that BioWare has done with these philosophical changes.

And, I've been around. I know how things work. If you group up with local server groupmates, it's a much, much more friendly and social atmosphere - fostering grouping again, maybe even guild formation - compared to cross-server grouping. Fact.

So yes, it is simply lazy.

If you cry baby WoW kids get BW to cave in to all your easy mode demands like Blizz have done then I will think about quitting. This game is easy enough as it is for casuals.

The problem I have is that you WoW whiners will not be happy until this game plays just like COD and BW seem happy to cave to every demand.

Dual Spec plus xsvr LFD WILL turn this game into the cesspit of a game that WoW has become since those features were implemented.

How long before you same people cry that specs should be removed all together just so you can have one toon thats uber at everything without even having to level?

Bad move BW imo.

Oh please, this game is already WoW. It pratically copied it's endgame word for word. So it may as well bring over it's best feature, which was it's cross-server LFG tool that made the gear-grind hammsterwheel easy to particpate in.

So if you want to blame anyone for games becoming more like WoW - blame Bioware. They are the ones who decided to copy it.

Also, it has nothing to do with being lazy. YOu really need to drop this line of attack, because it's inaccurate. I have spent hours on the fleet before trying to find a tank. Sometimes groups simply are not available. Period. No matter how hard you work, or how long you advertise. And it's not just me. I constantly see people deseprately trying to form groups on chat before they become frustrated as well.

It's a real problem, especially so since after 50 flashpoints is about the only thing to do on this game. So stop pretending this about being lazy. It's NOT.

This is what I keep saying, the WoW crowd wont be happy until this game is no more than a COD style lobby based instanced PVP game. Because thats all THEY want.

As is usually the case they will then say this game "sux" when the next big thing comes out and **** off again leaving those of us that had invested in playing THIS MMORPG left with a crappy Star Wars COD clone.

Sad times indeed when MMORPGs are hijacked and stupified for the Fisher Price McMMO generation. And they call making everything so simple and rediculously lazy innovation and progress...lol.

Cant wait for this crap to go full circle and the fashion once again to be for making MMORPGs for actual grown ups rather than burger flipping morons with 3 second attention spans who NEED dual spec and NEED xsvr LFD just to feel "special"...

How odd, I can't wait till the generation who believes tedium and inconvenience = difficulty and challenge, go's away.

No those 10 mins you spend walking through airlocks doesn't make you special nor does running back to the mentor.

I cant believe they are going to implement an LFD tool *** BW have you learned nothing from watching Blizzard balls up!!

This system will lead to 1 thing

"Waaa Waaa Waaa I cant complete this instance with this pug group, nerf it please its too hard"

and what do we end up with? Yeah thats right hello kitty in space!!

To those that cant seem to grasp the idea of a social aspect server I can tell you have oput 0 effort into finding groups. And when you have you have simply completed and walked away. Havent even thought of adding those guys to your friend list. You are all dam correct in saying spamming general looking for a group is not social, but if that is all you think we mean by social, well that just shows you have no clue at all how it works and have put no effort in at all. Dont get me wrong its not your fault, you've just been spoon fed easy mode gaming by a fail game!

Go get yourselves a friends list of guys youve managed to have runs with then there is no ned to spam /1 LFM HM's. You simply /w the guys you know andf see what they upto. Trust me 2-3 HM's per day in a few hours + time for dailies and PvP once I get home from work. This is how you work your server community.

edit

Just a quick edit to add something else..

When this is implemented. Boy will I laugh my *** off when your all sat there for hours in a que cause there arent any tanks... No real gain then is there. Shucks I know I'll hit LFD and sit in fleet for the same ammount of time I already did!

And theres me and my buddies lol'in at you running our HM's

I ran hundreds, possibly thousands, of random heroics in WoW over my multitude of characters and I ran into horrid groups of people I'd end up carrying as a tank who couldn't understand mechanics more often than I'd run into people who had brains and made the runs enjoyable.

Then don't use the system. Just because it's there it doesn't mean your forced to use it to make groups. When I played WOW with the exception of leveling I barely used it. Always ran with friends and guildies anyways. In Rift I do the same. When it comes in handy is when we don't have a full group and can pick up the fillers.

Also there is absolutely nothing that stops grouping with horrid players by getting groups of random people from chat either. I've had it happen here. I just don't understand why people keep thinking that getting a group from general somehow stops this. It doesn't.

Once you figure out they're horrid you can just not group with them again and if the LFG system has an ignore feature you can do the same thing.

You people who dont want a crosserver LFG system:
1) You NEVER played WoW
2) You played WoW in the last year year and a half and played with a very young population
3) you have bad memory
4)you have no idea what your talking about
5) your an elitist gamer who plays 24/7 and doesnt want others to enjoy the game cos u.. dont anymore after having capped lvl on week 2 or 3...

I was there during vanilla wow, and after they implemented the crosserver lfg.
It didn' ruin the comunity. The comunity moved on... 8 years... maybe its time u moved on too?

So where in my post did you get the impression I wasn't talking about grouping in swtor?

Let me be clear after the spamming in SWTOR you get in and then the only discussion you have is explaining the pulls in SWTOR

While leveling and in hard modes.

In SWTOR this is already the way it is, fact.

If you want socializing buck up and start a conversation, where do you expect these social things to come from? the magic conversation starting fairy?
