Don't know what games you've been playing but they're easier than cataclysm heroics at launch.

My main was 50 on dec 21, and those first 1-2 weeks of hard mode fps were awful because literally half or more of the encounters were either bugged, impossible with ridiculous enrage timers or not working mechanics wise, or too easy literally as on normal. But they're fine now more or less..

We're not in the 90's anymore.
Pro Dungeon tool. Pro Cross server. Pro Dual AC. Pro Dual spec.

listen to it: 26:20 if you only want to listen to that part.

He has no real information, and no way implies cross server is the only way to go.
He only says that they are looking at it which is extremely huge considering they originally said no way in hell
Our lack of a proper LFD tool will black out the sun!
Then we shall cancel our subs in the shade!

I don't mean the fights themselves, there's just things in them that would be hard to coordinate.

Imagine doing HM Colicoid, HM Directive 7, and a few others I can't think of right now with a random group of morons? It just won't happen, you'll wipe for hours trying to explain it and never get it done unless you happen to luck into a group with a brain.

Cataclysm heroics became faceroll very quickly, at least for me. I had all my drake achievements done by January except one which required 2 healers at the time and I couldn't manage to get a 2nd guildie healer to come.

I don't think the content itself is hard, and especially won't seem so right now with people you know and you being able to pick your groups but think of what the majority of MMO players are nowadays and think of them trying to figure out things like I was talking about above.

I will unsub if they impliment a cross server FP group finder.

For PVP ... Sure, but not PVE. Not the main essence of the game. This will destroy the comunity if implemented.

Yours Sincerely,

A very disapointed old school MMOer

I'm reluctantly willing to accept a same-server FP finder, but preferably I would want a system that doesn't put you in a queue at all. What is the point of playing an MMO if you're gonna let an automated system do the socializing for you? I'm all for making finding groups easier than it is now, but leave the auto-grouping and cross-server crap out of it and I'd accept anything they wished to do with it.
What an unfair statement. NOt everyone who wants a LFG system is "lazy". Maybe they are just people are are sick of spending hours bored to death in the fleet spamming the general chat trying to find a tank?

Trust me. Adding a cross-sever LFG tool would serve the 'greater good' on this game better than anything else would. I like to be able to have fun on my games even when not all of my friends are online.

And if you don't want to use it, no one is making you. I don't see the problem. And I don't really see spamming "NEED TANK" as "socializing" anyways. It's more like "advertising" lol

Who won? Who is next? You decide!

EDIT: For people skeptical or lazy

Simon – Any plans for an LFG tool?

SR: Definitely being looked at including cross-server Flashpoint tool. Definitely wanting to do.
Thank god!

Perhaps the old school mmoer should go back to his old school mmo's?

There's a reason those old school mmo's couldn't bring the genre forward.

Innovation, quality of life improvements and change are the names of the game now.

I can't understand your bias. Why do you call people who aren't in your guild or on your friends list a "random group of morons"?

I have not really followed the lfg discussions, not for or against it, but what you say makes sense.

I just dont like seeing so many people quoting that summary (which I see as skewed / misconstrued) as gospel.

Oh, and am a little bitter on Biowares handling of the a lot of aspects, I try to be neutral and constructive, but I know it shows from time to time.
