I lol'd hard at this...

so let me get this straight...
with all the bugs and "real" problems in swtor at the current moment...

you demand that you have this fixed first?
are you really that important? damn bro lets all bow to you while we're at because damn you cant have your "fix"...

wow... please oh please ban this idiot from the forums for not having enough intelligence "try" and use the preferences.

"so much butt hurt here... the qq is strong with this one"

this is actually a valid concern.

see, like many are suggesting I should simply use my mouse wheel every single time I get into a new loaded area or get off a taxi but this is a mistake.

It's a mistake because the target nearest enemy option in preferences doesn't work all the time and you can have enemies up in your face in pvp and not have them targetted, which is very annoying.

So you have to actually map a targest nearest enemy button and it has to be quick enough to be done quickly with battle hotkeys.

I personally choose to map target nearest enemy hotkey to mouse wheel forward, and target self to mouse wheel backwards.

I know some of you think i'm going to map the two most convienent hotkeys to make my camera zoom in and zoom out when i shouldn't have to in the first place once set but some of us are smarter than the average bear.

TS is correct that the zoom - mouse wheel zoom thing - is borked.

Maybe no one is bug reporting it?

Not only does it reset to some default zoom when you go through loading screens and such, but it also gets messed up when you change levels. The camera will get caught on the higher level and as you move down the camera stays high and it looks like it's floating away making your toon appear smaller and smaller. Then it eventually auto-corrects and snaps back to your character but it should be fixed all the same.

I agree they should fix the zoom so it doesn't change on you.

That's a game breaker? Must bounce around a lot of games. Or spend a lot of time getting in and out of taxis.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

I know what the op is talking about. I have my max zoom out pretty far (maybe 100%) for situational awareness in like pvp or something. Anytime I run by a little post or jump of the starter cliff in huttball it brings my camera back on my *** again.

It's not hard to readjust but it would be nice that the camera goes back to where you had it under those circumstances.

It is broken! With all the times you load and use a taxi it is ridiculous that we have to manually adjust it back to the right distance again!
one of the patches? its done this from day one. dropping down from a platform will reset mine, its seems like when terrain makes the camera zoom in, it will stay zoomed in and not move back to its original distance
