Nobody is getting a migrane from the flashing ability bars that already weren't getting migranes from the countless flashing spell effects and visual effects throughout this entire game.

StrikeofLight insists otherwise. We can't stand in his/her shoes so we have to assume he isn't lying.

Lots of people in the link below say they are. I am one such person. I was alright before the patch, and so were the dozens and dozens of others claiming to have similar problems within the thread below, (and the other threads before that which were locked because they were so long).

Enjoy.

I get migraines, but game so far hasn't caused me any issues. Of course as soon as I say that I will get one. /knocks on wood.

Note: Not knocking anyone or disputing that people might be getting migraines btw.

That is not true. The intensity of the new cooldown UI is significantly worse than the spell effects on the screen. The spell effects are somewhat muted by the background textures and variety of colors. The contrast isn't as intense.

For the ability bars, having 20-24 buttons suddenly light up brighter than the already white UI is extremely jarring to people. Many people don't realize they are sensitive until something like this occurs to trigger their migraines.

Ray, you failed to deliver my possibility space.

Just a hypothesis I have: Mass Hysteria or some similar conversion disorder that affects multiple individuals.

"After this initial individual shows symptoms, others begin to manifest similar symptoms, typically nausea, muscle weakness, fits or headache."

*shrug*

Not sure what else to say.

The headaches I'm getting feel pretty real to me. I noticed other people getting the same symptoms. I used myself as a guinea pig to find workarounds, and submitted my findings in this thread to help people.

If I could prove it somehow, I would. It is all a moot point anyhow, seeing as they will fix it in two weeks or so. I just made this thread to try and help people feel better.

Wrong. That stuff didn't bother me but the new effects on the UI did.
