We NEED a penalty for dropping from a warzone NOW!

Great, a deserter debuff! Even more reasons for a Battlemaster to logout indefinately.

"They know" Well, I'm certainly glad they haven't acted on it yet. If I join a game of huttball in which the opposing team has scored 5 times and is now farming the team I was randomly placed on with 10 minutes still left in the match, then I should have the right to leave. I wasn't one of the failhards that got the team into this situation, why should I be punished by being forced to stay just so you don't feel punished when I leave?

This is a stupid topic, and IMO, there should be a penalty for posting on a subject that already has 2349014809284 existing threads focused on it.

Something like not being able to post for a year sounds fair to me. I feel punished by having to read each of these non-sensical whines.

What quitters don't understand is that their actions don't just affect themselves or their fail teammates...they affect the people that queue up and get dropped into a losing warzone halfway through because of somebody else's selfishness. That's not fair to them at all.

He is why i leave wz`s:
1.I join and see ppl with 12k hp.They are walking medals for enemy team.Cba to stick with them.I leave before game even starts.
2.My team suck:no healing,meaningless fighting in wrong places,no support for ball carrier etc.Why would i stick with them?I`d rather leave and save my time.

This makes great sense, a few ppl have been talking about the 3 wins or 9 losses sort of mechanic, but this one works without tracking two variables... provides incentive to stay in the game and collect your valor for the loss.

The ppl grinding out bags for BM gear that dont want to get stuck in a 20min voidstar guaranteed loss dont quit in min one, and the ppl that feel compelled to tough it out for whatever reason dont get punished with wave after wave of leavers.

Heres hoping someone takes notice of this idea and runs with it.

If you don't want people quitting warzones, stop farming for 15 minutes when you could have won the game in five. Just stop, and most people will stop dropping and will take their credits, xp, and medals, then queue back up for another game.

Bioware should discourage this medal farming as well. It's mostly not too bad, but when you end up in a team that so outshines yours that you end up dying every time you leave spawn without gaining a single thing for yourself, it's horrible. And it's even worse for healers because on top of getting fewer medals to begin with, they get focus fired by good teams.

The deserter penalty should be a change in appearance for one hour. Anyone who deserts should have their appearance changed to a little girl in a skirt complete with tears.

That way the rest of us non p**ssies can point and laugh at them for an hour.

Oh and Mr. Bad Arse Battlemaster, congrats on maxing out on PvP. If you are so l337, you should be able to help your weaker team to victory, amirite?

The incentive for you at this point is to PvP and have fun pwning noobs. If you can't do that in your l337 gears, you've probably already been carried to BM.

You make a commitment to play a WZ when you click that little Q button. If you aren't enough of a man to fight it out, then please don't click that button. Believe me, the rest of us won't miss you for even a second. I'd rather wait 10 minutes for a match to pop, than have to q with fail quitters.

Its really simple:I am in no way obligated to help your weak butt get gear,from my viewpoint it is you who obligated to get some gear before joining same wz as i do.If you fail at that i will leave and let you take it like a man:P.

I dont want to pwn noobs,its not fun at all,sure i can gib 2 scrubs at the same time at the turret and cap it,but if rest of the team suck it wont be enough to win the game.You will get comms and valor,i wont get squat out of loss.So why should i stay.
