The same people probably would have problems driving a car through a long alley with the sun shining into the car every 30m.

Dozens and dozens of people on this forum, myself included, are getting a motion-sickness effect from the game and it was NOT LIKE THIS BEFORE THE PATCH.

The UI is on 3 out of 4 sides of your peripheral vision, and the repeated flashes they added in the last patch is what is making us sick.

Boom. Now you know.

Same here.

I can go clubbing and feel JUST FINE.

This game, however? Gah!

Because people always have access to the game (Work, school, on an elevator with their smartphone, etc. etc.)
I only get paid when I survive. I like getting paid.

Should also note: I am a severe migraine sufferer and hasn't set off a migraine for me. Heck, an MMO has never set off a migraine for me.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. >.< It may also be playstyle. I wonder if the people affected are 'clickers'? I don't click, so I don't watch my bars that much. I usually can just tell when key abilities are off CD out of the corner of my eye. I dunno. Or maybe i'm wrong.

The disco flashing does happen all over, not just in the peripheral view.
The brain tries to tel lthe eyes to check what is flashing there. 2-3 directions at the same time. This causes heavy strain on the eyes, and the brain, and this causes motion sickness and migraines for people who are sensitive to this kind of stimulus.

Combat effects move around, and usually they happen right there, in the center of where you're looking.
Q: So, is there anything at all in the game that mitigates falling damage?
A: elevators

The game is 100% playable. So there is zero need for refunds.

Those who seek attention and post they are unsubbing are much like wailing babies wanting attention.

Just think, if you resubscribe then you'll have access to the fixed UI, and you'll be ready to go for next month's resubscribe scam.

I'm just waiting to hear about widespread billing "errors." It used to be confined to EU, where consumers aren't as well protected and distributors are far less accountable, but then EA/Mythic went ahead and proved it could happen anywhere.

If you have intricate rotations with condition-dependent abilities, it's a pain; I'm not getting the headaches others are, but I have the same issues as others with being able to tell which abilities are off cooldown while the GCD animation is playing.

I'm just glad I'm now re-leveling a jugg instead of playing my 50 jugg; I assume I'm only being spared headaches because I have 1/4th the number of abilities of a 50.
