So i got my CE today with a pysical security key included,
however when i try to type in the verification code it keeps saying that it's the wrong one.

Should be the one on the back which is for me:

xx-xxxxxxx-x

Thats 10 digits, where there should be 8...
no matter in what combination i type it, my code doesnt get regonized
any ideas

I think you need to actually activate your fob by adding a security key, BEFORE you type in any of the authentication keys. Or else the game won't know that the fob is attached to your account.

I may be wrong, but I can't imagine anyone being able to use just any authenticator they can find without first setting up a security key for that authenticator fob first.

Just my theory.
May the force be without you.

That is the serial, you need the activation code. The activation code will not come up until after you activate it.

Edited because I read it all kinds of wrong.

Actually, I had the same problem. But when you write the xx-xxxxxxx-x, don't use the - between the numbers.
