But anyway, EA and Bioware are working together, but they're not the same thing..
your comparing swtor to what exactly ??

PS EA own Bioware, just a heads up there as you seem to know it all.

Funny OP... the game is playable right now from where i stand. And my specs are really old - dual core processor with a 64bit video card and such...bought it about 5 years ago or so. I have yet to encounter any game-braking bugs which is impressive for a newly launched game to be honest. People like to bring WoW up but i was there when it launched and it was horrid...now that was unplayable. I dont mean to say that this game doesnt have its faults (most importantly the ability delay to be honest - its being worked on) but saying its unplayable is a gross overstatement. Moreover, the devs have shown a willingness to address the issues we have brought forth which gives me a lot of faith in this games future.

Also... I love it how people like to bring up Diablo 3 or GW2 as if they pose some kind of threat. First of the Diablo games (dunno about this new one but im guessing its the same) are not RPG's... not really anyways. They are hack & slash games...clickfests. Same can be said about GW2 with its awkward twitch based combat... if i want that ill play CS or any other FPS for that matter and those games are actually balanced to boot.

...just my 2 cents

Nope, I have played MMO's for years that is exaclty why I'm having this problem, I guess i should expect less from a $100 million game?

And they're still different entities ^_^ Do you think that if bioware falls EA goes with it?

i might be fishing here, but if someone plays one game for two years, i think thats plenty to bring to the table.

These games pose a HUGE threat atm, especially if this game is not fixed by the time they release. If the game was at an acceptable state they wouldn't have to patch it 2x+ per week.

Basically I'm wondering when the game will be up a state where a normal/competent company would release the game.
well haveign been ehre for beta and having played other MMO's i woudl say this game was in a playable state on December 13 when early access started.
