BioWare: "most" people aren't having SWTOR performance issues

my problem is at PvP areas such as huttball and alderan for an example , from outside these areas i can run the game on high easily. i'm not 50 yet but i'm afraid i'm going to suffer to do operations , my Latency also increase at those pvp maps aswell , abilities start to have delay or even don't work and i die because of it , it's pretty annoying and i expect a fix soon

my computer specs are , Amd Athlon II X4 3.0 GHz , 4gb RAM DDR3 , ATI Radeon HD5770 1 GB DDR5 , i can run games such as crysis 2 and battlefield 3 on max settings without problems so that's not my PC problem it's the game problem

no performance issues here 60-110 fps everywhere i go includeing fleet with 300 ppl and warzones.

Most powerful video card is not a great description....

For everyone out there, specs are good.

i have huge fps drops while running around imperial Fleet i when i enter new parts i can drop to 6 fps and then when everything is loaded keep a stable 40-60 fps then sometimes for no reason drops to 10-20 in the same area and go's back up to 40-60 wierd...brand new system

Gaming laptops are called like that because they are for GAMING!

Asus G73 series, G74 , Alienware etc.

There are laptops out there who can put up with ANY game at the moment on full details but have problems with SWTOR!

Ignorant ppl like you make this life a crap place to live in!

I guess you love saying things that you have no idea about. My gaming laptop is 1,5 years old and it runs Crysis, Crysis 2, Skyrim and many many other new games on High or not Ultra, yet I get 10 fps in 16 man ops in ToR.
Now please tell me that I should buy a desktop if I want to run the game well.

Question for the community...I'm curious to know what version of windows that people who are not having issues are running. I'm not certain, but reading through a lot of the posts in this thread and others, it gives the impression that the majority of FPS issues seem to be coming from people with 64 bit OS's. I have no issues with performance issues beyond the occasional stuttering that has only happened once when I was running multiple 1080P streams with SWTOR going and WoW.

To be fair, you saying most people are having performance problems is completely unfounded out of all the people who play his game a small percentage even look at these forums, on top of that people are more likely to post something if they are having problems.

sure there is evidence of it on quite a few cases bit unless you can show me 1 million plus unique accounts that are having problems youcant really say most people.

Also I think bioware would have a better idea about what's happening in their game assuming they used stats from the in game support.

And of course if they found a large % of the base was having such issues they would rush to tell us, "Yep, guys, we messed it all up".
