Can I progress with her romance without actually marrying her?

Got to the point where she gives the "the talk".

Based on the diolog options I had in a quest she gave after this then yes you should be able to continue the romance without marring her, but as there is almost nothing in game yet after that point I cannot be sure.

I'm not sure you actually "marry her" per say, as pledge to be with her for as long as you live.
Which is the same thing, without a ring/long-*** ceremony.

If we did marry her, someone correct me please, because I am under the impression that I promised to be with her forever.

You start marrying them, then you lose an arm, then all the other limbs and you become a puppet for the emprah, no thanks.

Well, the other dude lost the arm first, then married her but still.
