Why go Republic? Something MUST be done

There's been at least one fix per patch that has addressed the minor class imbalances in favour of Empire.

For example, the Juggernaut/Guardian and Sorcer/Sage have been generally equalized already.

You have the same amount of children per capita as Empire.

Meaning on a daily basis you will interact with as many children as I will.

The myth that certain factions have superior playerbases has been shattered anytime someone has tried to gather the data for it.

The difference between the two factions' attitudes is negligible.

Just because you like brown and blue and I like black and red doesn't make either of us any more mature than the other.

You claim to be an adult, so act like one.

This is highschool level ********, I left that place behind a decade ago, please don't make me deal with it again.

Join whatever clique you want, just leave me out of it.

People who roll Republic by reason of their nature, rather than for artificial reasons (such as seeking a fastr queue time), are prone to approach games rather differently from those attracted to the Dark Side.

There may be just as many Republic players on a server as there are Empire players, but if we average half the time in-game there will seem to be half the players in the faction.

There are new games launching or about to launch. Bioware's Mass Effect 3's launch is just around the corner and I'd like to get a 'perfect' ME2 game finished, so I spend some time in that, as one example.

I'll still keep my sub for SWTOR, but I am not a slave to the Empire players who want a opponents in the game 24/7 for their convenience.

possibly the most insane thread ever.

I have three republic characters level 30 or higher with one 50.

I have two sith characters both under 10.

I simply can't motivate myself to play empire or be interested in playing it.

omg I'm an anomaly. :\

some people like to play good guys. some people like to play losers enjoy.

Pretty much says it for me...
No, of course not. And that is the whole problem with aliens, you just can't trust them. Occasionally you meet a nice one, Starman, E.T., but usually they just turn out to be some kind of big lizard!

Because warzone pops are almost most instant and I only see one Hutball a day. After playing Sith to 43 I flipped to Republic, and yeah the robes arent as cool but being a dark Jedi is pretty fun.

And did I mention quick warzone pops last night 5 Voidstars, 3 Alderaans, 1 Hutball. And I love Hutball but every match was too much.

If they simply solved some of the animation imbalanced between the two factions I think the problem would get alot better.

Project <<< Shock

Mortar Volley <<< Death from Above

These are huge issues. Players are leaving Republic and going Empire because the slow animations means more dodged attacks and missed kill opportunities.

Well thats a lie I actually get faster queue times on my Empire characters. Sure it might be Huttball but thats still PvP and its better than sitting around crafting in Fleet and waiting for queues to pop.

Every day the number of Republic in Fleet dwindles down on my server. Used to be 200 in Fleet when I started now hardly over 100. People are rerolling in droves because finding raiding guilds is impossible hell even finding normal FP groups is near impossible. Theres never mats, schematics, or a good supply of gear/mods on the GTN and stuff that sells like hotcakes on Empire side never sells at all on Republic cause theres no one to buy it. Also I go to Imperial Fleet and its full of chat for people forming groups of all levels even EV groups. Then go to Republic Fleet and /Crickets.

Is BioWare ever going to fix this crap or is this game intended to be a single faction game?
I think you're an idiot. Chances are most people rolled empire because they had the "cool" classes like bounty hunters, and could shoot lightning. You're a douche by rolling empire and adding to the problem. When I started a character, I didn't go empire because I knew there would be too many empire players, and what do you know? it's completely true. Story is no reason to roll empire either, I spacebar through ever convorsation and push the 3 key, or dark side option, or 2 if 3 is a refusal. Bam, done. It's not Bioware's fault, it's the player base. Blame players like yourself.

Sadly enough I play more Huttball vs other Republics then I do Sith and I'm on a PVP server that's dominated by Empire 4:1 easily.
I need about tree fitty.
