My 2c: ye, i agree that 16 mans should have better quality reward, but
raids are damn easy at all, gearing is too fast. We clearing nm in 2-3 days and nothing else to do in this game rest 4-5 days. I feel like i'm playing solo game with optional chat and grouping. Seriously, i was hc raider for 7 years, this is not enough for me. I was near emorage quit when we started to do 8 mans and thx gods we turned back to 16 ppl. Even 16 is not enough, pls make it at least 24, increase mobs difficulty, reduce drop rate. I want to play MMO, where you actualy need to work with other ppl and progres. 8 and 16 mans is a blasphemy.

16 man isnt exactly harder it is different, a healer from a 16 man group joined our 8 man raid and he said healing in 16 man was way easier and way less responsibility

i dont think both raid modes are too far off, and should yield the same rewards maybe slightly more in 16 man but thats it

forcing ppl to raid 16 mans is not solving anything on some servers its hard enough to find ppl for 8 mans on republic side...

and who exactly said that 16 man is supposed to be the hardest endgame? 16 man and 8 man are supposed to be equal if they r not balance changes to the encounters have to be made - some ppl simply enjoy playing with ppl they know not a zerg

but still we didn't exchange any tokens befor we went for SoA for example and we had 2 new 50s with us (both in blue levling gear) and another was rezzed in front of the op entrance and well he just went down anyway.

I'm not saying 16m isn't harder in general (e.g. Trash and therefore Phylons - allthough those have been nerved too) - just that most Boss fights are about equal or easier (SoA).

the real "hardship" might be just to get 16 ppl that know what to do.

24 people will make it very difficult to gather for in several realms at this point, while extremely lagging most systems people currently have so naturally I have to be down on that one.

Eq1 raids is up to 72 mans, EQ2-24, WoW-25. Why it should be difficult here? Ye, i got you point, but slack guilds/servers still can raid 8 or 16 or whatever.

Healing in 16 mans are actualy more easy on hm or nm. For example Soa: 8 mans you got 2 healers, 2 lightings, can be rough if one medic is mindtraped. 16 mans it's a 4-5 healers, 3/2 lightings and more ppl to free you from mindtrap or cover you job.

And i can't agree more with bad itemization.

u sir arent logical

u r talking about flashpoints thats something i do spontaneously and finish in about an hour. ops are about beeing in the game at a specific hour on a specific day and if some people dont show up u r wasting ur time.

lol wow i didn't actually know it was harder(although it makes sense). did my first 16 man today super easy... as opposed to my old guild failing 8man normal at 2nd boss.

but on topic thats pretty pointless but not surprising with how this game is looking so far.

What you are saying here is not correct.
Nobody would force anyone into 16 ppl raids if 16 ppl raids would get pushed a little bit. 8 man dungeons would not die and would not be disadvantaged.

Did you actually read the opening post in this thread?

When buffing the 16 man operations slightly, there is no consequence to the 8 man raids. No guild would be forced to get 8 more active players just because one trash mob between the bosses drops one random epic.

AFtering lvl'ing a Sent. up to lvl 18 and have yet to get into a group or need a group I've discovered a couple thing for me personally.

One why not just play something like Skyrim since group play is really not needed.

Two the end game was not thought out well at all, so once u get to lvl 50 you will be max geared and bored within a few weeks. The raids with 8 man and 16 man dropping the same loot is poorly thought out, especially for a game that took this many years to create.

Look. Raids are min. 24 + people , really should be 50+ That is where a true guild can utilize different strats and player strengths. An 8 or 16 person raid is not a raid that is more like a tough group event. I was hoping this game could be the in between of EQ1 and WoW but once again I have found fail again.....

Im not gonna waist my time lvl'ing up to 50 waisting 15 bucks a month doing so only to find I my toon is the same as everyone elses no matter how much time I spend raiding or playing group content.

I am not the best Forum poster as far as my point being spelled out correctly but im just putting my feelings out there.
