In fact, I'd love to see that be implemented and watch carebears really come out of the woodwork.
If there was an item worth doing it, you'd likely see a large amount of PvE geared groups start PvPing.

You'd also likely see whining from the people who fail to realize that sometimes you have to work for something.

However, I'd like to see rank 60 Valor actually mean something other than standing in a corner of Ilum swappin' kills before we start requiring it for craft materials.

logic fail. I bet you work at mcdonalds or the equivalent in whatever country you may be in.
I'll bet my 6-figure salary that I don't

Thanks for proving my point. I bet 90% of those dragon slayers would hate every minute of it.

The point here is that "working" for something and "earning" something are different concepts. I will "earn" my valor ranks but you won't see me dragonslaying to "work" for my crafting materials... work=/= play... I'd rather go without.

I hate when people throw out statistics like this.
Plenty of "dragonslayers" do PvP and enjoy it. Just like there's more than likely plenty of "playerslayers" who do PvE and enjoy it.

They, more likely than not, would hate the fact that they're being forced to "earn" 50 valor ranks to craft something when a PvPer could run a single hardmode and pay the group for the biometric crystal alloy to craft his piece.

Earning valor ranks?

Bahahahaha. Comedy Central should hire you as a writer for Jon Stewart, that one was good!
Tell that to the huge influx of Battlemasters who do nothing but Ilum.

Really though, the easiest solution to this whole stim fiasco is to randomly place a fully crafted stim into Champion/Battlemaster bags. It shuts the PvP crowd up from whining about alloys, and lets them do their "srs business" of killtrading on Ilum.

Ahhhh so you hate random statistics but you love stereotyping.... since we all know that every pvper is killtrading to battlemaster in Ilum.... rightttttttt

And no, no, no, no, no... give the pvpers a valid way to get the materials required to create a specific item that they want that is currently ONLY accessible by dragonslaying.. The very LAST thing we need is more RNG in our bags.

Shouldnt there be an option for PVPers to get that item to?

It should be, cause a major part of this game dont do Pve and they have crew skill that required that item.

I just lvl up biochem to 400, and just found out i cant use rakata crafting thing cause i dont PvE??

This is just plain stupid, hope you bioware can make a option to get that without PvE!
Don't you want Biochem for free too? Isn't a bummer to have to go into PvE land to talk to a trainer and gather mats.

There should be resource nodes in PvP areas so you skilled up PvP folks can resource trade.
I soloed Ilum completing all of the objectives.
30 sentinel ,40 Shadow, 18 Scoundrel
Why cant we win at WZ's Universe at war RPGPVP progression Re-install DX9 for better perf?

I do both pvp and pve and have had no luck with the roll on the instances i do so this would be great without having to do another 10 runs of BT HM
