If it was the other way around, and PVE players had to do PVP to get an advantage in something there would be no end of whining, right now they don't need anything from PVP but the reverse isn't true.

That's 13k+15k for doing the daily(and that's if you get 3 wins in a row).
17k+45k for the weekly(again, that's if you get all 9 wins in a row).

Now, with NONE of that going to repairs--why exactly are you not "rolling in credits" over time?
Probably because I waste all my money on spaceship upgrades, spice, ******s, etc.

That is how pve mmo's work unfortunately.
Since we all know that pve is 95% bad players and that 70-80% of the people who play mmo's play it for pve we as pvp'rs will always be shafted.

Thank God for PVP mmo's like Guild Wars.

So when does their gear become 'standard' in PvP?

One tradeskill "dominating" PvP does not mean that they should cater to those people who want to get an edge in PvP using it. Rakata Stims are top-tier gear, if you want one--get into a hardmode.

The irony in your statement is delicious.
You are TOTALLY missing the point. Why should a PvPer have to do PvE content for an item that is trainable? This would be the same thing as making any said item require rank 50 valor to craft it AND require the dragonslayer loot. In fact, I'd love to see that be implemented and watch carebears really come out of the woodwork.

This. This. This.

The hypocrisy is ridiculous.

Also, go vote for my suggestion:
Give us something to buy with Battlemaster/Champion/Centurion Commendations
-Caevis Azareal - 50 Vanguard Trooper - Iron Citadel

That would be hillarious!

I really don't like having to pve for a crafting item. There needs to be an option for those of us who don't engage in that aspect of the game.

Oh no, I did.

I laughed, quite a bit in fact.

The whole point is that no matter what MMO you're playing, this is what has happened when a specific craft becomes "the standard" for PvP. You have the players who only consider themselves "hardcore pvpers" getting upset that PvE has something they want/need.

It was all over during TBC with engineering in the arena brackets.
