Force Ghost Solo'd

so.... you didnt solo it....

what other player helped me?
none, i alone engaged the force ghost and killed him, with no other players help, thus a solo.
as stated before the only reason i used the npc was to speed it up, my force level was above 80% at time the force ghost died, i could maintain that level of healing all day long.

I think you can just ignore the envious + jealous + ignorant comments....

i solo them both most every day too, the only reason i dont is if im grouped with guildees to speed things up. Like you mentioned it does take a while, however even when i solo it, i save the middle console for last, kill the adds, send khem to the boss, click panel and then run out along the wall. I have killed the boss at the second console before, but it was a brutal fight since companions just stand in the path of incomming effects. The missles this guy launches do crazy damage, and i have had people request a vid to see that boss solo'd without using line of sight, which is the way many people have solo killed him.

I wonder, if I geared out Quinn in full Columi, could a Mara solo that fight?

Carnage would be out the window for it, much to my displeasure. You'd just NEED the heal-ticks.

Yeah I'm mad at myself for not realising sooner you could just click the panels during combat, oh all that wasted time... Kinda do the same for the other heroic that requires you to kill lord raxxus, I just run tru the place, die near his room, revive and beat him and avoid the trash, takes 1 death but saves a ton of time. If you want a challenge much harder then these 2, try the crystal eater champion in the cave in ilum. Gotta jump down north of the heroic 2 daily into the chasm, and follow the path there to a cave (the one where the datacron is) he's tough, and a few bad crits can take khem down for good.

I see where you are getting at, but i don't think that's a fair case in this game. SWTOR was designed with companions in mind so i would say that using your companion during a fight is soloing... However, kiting a mob to an NPC... Well, even if it is just to shorten the fight, in my mind it's not a solo yet. However i have no doubt that it's possible and i think its awesome to see someone having a good enough understanding of his/her class to go out and do something like this.
To all the people saying "big deal": Come on, just acknowlege the players accomplishment and don't hate so much. As long as i don't see you posting a video of you soloing him, you are just making youself look as a selfish and petty person.
