Why go Republic? Something MUST be done

BioWare should of went three factions from the start, but they screwed up in game design.

The players seem to be working this one out on their own. Every day on an alt I hear people say "my main is a sith", "mine too!!", "how's the republic warzone queues?" etc etc

faction imbalance is really the communities problem, not biowares.

Yes, I agree, the art team failed as designing Jedi armor. The Jedi Consular's ops gear (tionese/columi/rakata) is hideous. It makes consulars look like a mix between a disco nightmare and a tribal freak.

However, the shoulder guards on the Sith Inquisitor's ops gear is pretty pathetic too.

Troopers are schmexy hawt. I'm not sure why the big chunky white armor does it for me, but it does.

Men in uniform? Women in uniform? Maybe that's it.

Spoilers to the smuggler story line, but basically its one lines/quotes from various points of the smugglers story. Its just so well scripted!

I agree, but there is nothing Bioware can really do about it at this point. People like the Empire better. They need to redo the story for all Republic classes (except JK possibly), armor, abilities, etc. ... hell even the world arc is better in the Empire. Even then, people already have their main set and leveled in the Empire already ... most wont bother rerolling just because the Republic is now up to par with the Empire.

Players have been on Bioware's as since the game was being developed and promoted because the Empire was being highly favored in pretty much every aspect of the game. They covered their ears and kept focusing their best work on the Empire ... now its too late. The majority of players are on in the Empire and it will not change at least for a few expansions.

Female IA, with Jo Wyatt's voice is amazing. LOVE our ship. Best looking ship, inside and out, in the game. Far more friendly to navigate inside too. Smuggler ship is a trash dump and harder to get around in that it really needs to be. Jedi Ship is ok but too many twists and turns the yellow lighting is wrong for it. BH ship is another trash dump and it also suffers from bad lighting. Sith Fury is a tight little oval but a very bland. Last ship I have to see is the trooper but Ord Mantel is such a pain to level up on, as is Hutta.

The Jedi Knight story, through Coruscant, is actually pretty good. IA story has very meaningful decisions that change how the story concludes. Smuggler story was pretty bad. "Oops, they gave me the slip again. Oops, they gave me the slip again, Oops, ..." *sigh* So boring, so predictable. Also, IA story has 6 different outcomes. What other class has that?

I don't care what I look like, only that I can get decent PvP action. Republic certainly doesn't have a problem with that. I guess have fun looking like a cool guy while looking for people to zerg on Ilum and getting Huttball queues all day I guess.
