Oh, besides the Stap that isn't useable until you hit level 25 and pay 40k to be able to use a speeder, and the flare gun that... fires flares into the air or the targetting droid that... is really silly and basically a major joke, or perhaps you are talking about the holocamera... that does the exact same thing print screen does, or the holodancer... which after the first dance is... also worthless.

basically.. the only truly useful thing you get is the Stap, the rest is just space wasters in your inventory or cargohold.

The crystal.. +4 endurance isn't so bad early in the game... like the first 10 levels (where you can't actually use it until you complete [most of] your class quests on the starting worlds). but after that.. +4 is virtually useless and can be replaced with better at I believe level 11.

It would be nice if the crystal scaled with level. Then it would actually be useful and a worthy gift for pre-ordering. As it is.. much like everything but the Stap, it's useless space wasting fluff.

Next patch will feature Pandas... who does kung fu.

Not until level 17, actually, which means you can in theory get around 10 levels out of it.

In any case, if you were expecting mechanical advantages of some kind you were being completely unrealistic.
