I used to be a pvp'er but then I took a blaster to the knee

(sorry, someone had to say it)
George Lucas: I told you the game was called Star Wars. Bioware: You sure? We thought you said Stun Wars
Republic General on Imperial Favouritism: We can't win. If we strike them down Bioware will just make them more powerful than we could possibly imagine.

Fyi, there are no dragons in SWTOR.
I'm pretty sure the meaning among MMO gamers has transcended this very literal definition by now.

It's like asking for a Jack and Coke in the bar and the bartender says "well, sir, we have a variety of colas, however we do not stock Coke specifically."

Sure, in a strict literal sense you're right, there are no "dragons" in SW:TOR (though you could always rename it Droid Kill Points if you really wanted to force the issue).

However, since most use the term "DKP" to simply be shorthand for "currency earned through attendance to be spent on loot" it's kind of a non-issue that the term originated from the days of internet swords and internet dragons, surely?

I know (hope!) you're kidding, but still.

Devs:
We wil raise the level cap to 80 and add renown instead of leagacy and cap it at 100.
We will also merge all servers to two servers + german and french one
and MAKE SURE that one sever will be 90% republic and the other 90% empire
have a nice day. . . . .

P.S This is not sarcasm agenst mythic or warhammer online in anyway. . . . .

That's fair enough - but for others, it ensures fair distribution (or at least an approximation of "fair") beyond "ohlol I won the roll again, splendid". The people I've raided with before that have used DKP (or its little sister EPGP) have typically been just as happy to see gear go to a team-mate because the teams I've raided in have been relatively static so an upgrade to one is, in effect, an upgrade to all in terms of which bosses we can now kill.

But yeah, thanks for answering - was genuinely curious, not trying to wind anyone up over it

"Despite all the suggestions, the devs have decided NOT to allow you to jettison your ship droid out of the airlock at level 50."

Do not kick the ball, hutt's don't have feet!
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
