What a waste of dev time this whole "guide" thing is.

Seriously ? A guide on how to create your character ? What is this ? You market for 6 year olds now ?

Who on earth needs help on that ?
And who on earth needs help on how to use a map ?

Stop wasting your resources on absolutely useless work! There are already TONS of more comprehensive guides out there!

It's the first in a series, starting at the beginning. Relax. If you don't find it useful, it's probably not for you.

does the guide include sidenotes on what classes have huge bugs with not beeing able to continue on class quests? so they pick classes that can actually get to 50 including doing those?

I admit to being a little confused as to the intended audience for this. Is SWTOR being preloaded on laptops and airdropped into the mountains of Peru, where dwell lost tribes of people that have never seen a computer before? Because, seriously, "click the buttons, and, like, stuff happens"... is this something anyone old enough to be playing the game needs to be told in a video? All of the information in the video can be read on the screen as you go through the process.

Has Bioware actually been getting feedback from people saying "All those little circles and lines to the right of my character with labels like 'Face' and 'Hair Color'... what do they mean?" Are people having trouble seeing the connection between clicking the gender icon at the bottom, and having the gender of their character change?

I will assume Bioware won't expend resources on something they saw no need for... so that tells me a lot about the state of the human race.

I gotta agree with this statement. Even those that actually have need of the guides can either find the advice somewhere else or figure it out on their own, both of which would be quicker than waiting a week minimum for another video installment.

Seriously, who decided this was a good idea? What audience was this aimed at? The game's been out for over a month, surely this is public knowledge by now. I haven't completely lost my faith in humanity yet, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Well, it seems when vid didn't work was the better. However,
the problem is really deep and unfortunatly for all that love SW, BW and EA are not capable
to make such MMO. I have been playing swtor from more than 2 months and insted of solving problems and bugs, the crazyness goes deeper and deeper ... There are really many issues at conseptual level that aren't clear and fixing that in a hurry of critical bug paching just lead to lower overal quality of the game - thats a shame in mho!

Okay so I played several other MMO's:

WoW
Rift
Lineage 2
Eve
EQ
EQ2

Etc etc. The issue isnt whether SWTOR is awesome or has some new features. It does and it is. The issue, which Bioware has yet to show me they understand is the end game. END GAME IS THE GAME. After a year your fastest growing customer base will taper off and fail if you keep focusing on hey heres stuff for newbs to the game!!! Its a waste of your efforts. We can all see how the game works and are playing it. Even new players can figure it out.

Let alone end game, what about current bugs or bad parst of the game. The interface SUCKS. Having the map be huge constantly SUCKS, (YES EVEN WITH THE MAP FADE). Not having a damn DPS METER, (DPS METER NEEDED PLUG PLUG HINT HINT), sucks. Not being able to Mod the inerface SUCKS. Oh and the fact that I have to CNTRL UU all the time to regain my left click ability is ridiculous.

Other than these things Im sure there are other things I can rap about, however I want one thing to be understood here:

I love this game. Its a blast. I only want to help improve it if possible.

If you are so exited why dont you get rid of the 9000 error and do something about the war zone queue
Witch your Dev created since 1.1 this server boot bug exist and what has been done instead taking care of this issue you done nothing
Why i bring this issue to the Forum because CS has not done anything so far
Your Game Director said we are Part of this Universe so I request that the 9000 error is been Dealt with ASAP
