Wow did so well because Blizzard takes there time to releases products that are only high quality. They haven't even released D3 and it's in development for how long? They won't release it until they are ready.

Rolling an alt does not equal end game content. Furthermore....most of the planets are boring and linear, going through them again is hardly an option.

Master, why are you shoving me down the airlock, I've told you several times today that I've already cleaned the interior of the ship which includes the airlock master. Master, why are you venting me out of the airlock master, I've already run systems checks while you were gone master. Master, why are you charging up the engines and departing master, do you not like my interior decorating master?"

You used to be able to kill your companions but people were killing them and that basically screwed them on crafting amongst others things so Bioware decided against it.

My leveling of a mage was exactly the same as my leveling a hunter which was exactly the same as leveling anything else in WoW.

In SWTOR, my experience has been much better then yours.
What do you mean before MC and BWL gear was seperated? Ragnaros always dropped Tier 2 legs. World first on ragnaros was around 5 months after release so spare us the "I can't believe it took a year for anyone to beat MC" speech. It probably did take the average guild close to a year to get MC on farm. Its hard to believe that someone with a recollection that distorted even played vanilla.

Like they took the time to make sure character models didn't clash with gear and mounts looking like total butt gravy?... yeah right. WoW got one thing right and thats about as fluid of gameplay you're going to get in a mmo. Outside of that, WoW is to the mmorpg genre what Green Day is to punk rock.

Yes.

The problem with the game is that people have expected it to be a WoW clone. This is a two fold problem actually. Since WoW has completely and irrevocably altered the human perception of the MMO into it's former state, many either fall into the contempt or disgruntled due to high expectations patterns.

No. Bioware built this as an alternative to something. They did and the signs are there, however, they did not forsee and forgot to introduce a disclaimer as to what they plan on doing with this game. Therefore, this is the problem.

It's the folks who casually stroll by and enjoy the sights, sounds and visuals and those who want to get to the peak as fast as possible.

They made a huge mistake releasing this MMO a month ago. 2013 and a few things ironed out later and this would have been something to be reckoned with.

SWTOR is a WoW clone, just with less features and with VO. And of course the game is easy, because it is catering to the casual gamers (look how successful casual/social games are, who don't want to have a part of that).

I am fine with the difficulty while levelling and the amount of content the game has (after all it's still new). But the amount of bugs is terrible and that BioWare don't thought that many features would be necessary also makes it much less convenient to play SWTOR, and finally their customer support sucks big times!

I guess you missed the "story based" lines that were thrown around for years before release. This is not the game for space bar mashing "killer" types.

This is probably one of the worst games I've played for leveling alts, and that's saying something. It's like playing a single player game over again except you unlock one new mission now and then (the class quest). /yawn.
