I always vote for whoever had the most OBJECTIVE points first.

If there is no winner or the winner still has a low amount, then i vote best healer.

Usually doesnt matter because everyone instantly drops out the game before i get a chance to vote, anyways.

I admit, it's very appreciated to get singled out and catch a MVP vote or two from time to time.

From a humble scoundrel healer... Thanks, and thanks for sticking up against a retarded op too.

Why don't you make yourself useful and come up with some additional medals healers can get instead of a lame qq about your deeepppzz being overlooked by people who appreciate a more well rounded war zone experience!
I agree with you, I used to be DPS sorc and was able to get 6-7 medals easy but then I went healing spec since I find healing fun as sorc. I can heal 350k+ most games and keep my whole team alive but what do I get for my effort, 3-4 medals if I am lucky. Even healing for 500k+ i don't get more then 6 medals unless I try to dps. MVP system works sometimes but most of the time guy that already has like 8-9 medals gets votes, healers need some love when it comes to medals and we can disable MVP votes but until that happens all we can do is hope to get votes at the end of a match.

Also, posts like this, jerks who think their dps makes them entitled and the best, and probably in their mind think they really were the one person out of 8 that singlehandedly won the match. This kind of self centered bs is why i never vote for the dude with the most dmg/medals.

As anyone knows, who have played the WZs for a bit, the people who contribute the most to winning have the lowest scores on the final board.

as a pure dps class i dont get any votes for picking people off of my ball carrier or anyone else for that matter. theres times i can draw a crowd of 3-4 which allows us to score. i save countless lives every wz but medals are good enough for me

People notice healers more than someone doing lots kills or damage. I notice whenever i get healed. And as a healer, i get thank yous from other players I saved from 5% health.

People notice when they see green numbers pop up on them with a name attached to it.

I usually vote for someone with low medals- which is generally a healer. I'm not voting for a tank- I have a PT- if I'd get 6-7 medals in a match on my sorc and 5-6 medals as my op or marauders... I'd be getting 9-10 on my tank. I know how much easier it is to get medals as a tank, so I'm going to vote for someone who has a tougher job getting medals- either a healer or a dps- or, in some cases, the person doing objectives- if I actually see whoever's regularly ball capping.

It's not that tanks are the least deserving of MVP, it's that tanks don't deserve even more of an unfair bonus over everyone else than they already get every match. My sorc, at 50, has gotten 9 medals once. My PT, at 39, has gotten 11 medals a few times- and I'm pretty sure hitting 13 will be possible at 50.

Anyway- yeah, I'd sooner vote for a healer with 5 medals than a tank with 9.

As a healer, if a dps class consistantly tries to keep the opposing dps off of me with stuns, slows, damage, etc. when possible it is very noticable and they almost always get my vote. Unfortunately, the healer you are helping escape to heal others is usually the only one to notice, and most of the credit goes to the healer at the end. That being said, I definitely appreciate the votes I get considering I usually only get 4-6 medals after keeping that jugg alive the entire wz so he can get 10-14.

I assume you really meant huttball in your post because voidstar and alderaan are all about fighting and winning on objectives. But even in the case of huttball, fighting on the ball can lead to high scores in healing/damage/prot.

In alderaan the only ones who should have low scores are those who got unlucky, defending the ignored objective.

On my OP medic alt, I score at least 6 medals (KB, 2.5k heal, 75k heal, 75k dmg, 10 kills, 25 kills) in virtually (not if <5m huttball or total domination by the enemy team) every game in the sub50 bracket.

There is another 3 medals in for me, depending on the wz (1k def, 3k def, 1v1).

To be clear - I prioritize healing, spent all (atm 17...) in the healing tree and do the dps related medals on the side. All this while trying to win, not medal farming.

This is not to brag (because it is nothing special), but to make you understand my puzzlement.

On my tank, I manage to do 7-11 medals, on my lowie healer 6-9 - I couldn't care less for mvp votes.

Also, the rewards they bring with them greatly decrease in value after a certain point until every medal is utterly useless, actually.

Cause people sort by healing then vote for whoever is on top. It's stupid but w/e MVP votes don't really mean much unless you are insecure.
