why is it that healers automatically get the MVP votes, can we stop being lemmings?

I give mvp to who i think deserves it. The last voidstar I voted for the player who defended the door that was not being zerged. Whenever he had incomming he called out how many, made defending very easy. We won, the first set of doors were not breached, and I voted for a player who sacrificed medals to get the win.

Healers win games.

I am a healer and hardly ever get more than 2 votes no matter how well I do.

What is more fun, to heal or attack people? Attack of course so basically you are complaining that you get to do what you want and the people who are your *****es don't deserve recognition for being your slaves? :P

I usually vote for healers because I'm in the same boat as OP for now, with good damage and protection, but I also feel like a healer can stand around while a DPS tries to kill them and just heal through it, while doing a little damage. I usually weigh the stats, objectives and medals and vote for who I felt did the best.

Honestly, don't care much about the conversation. If someone is making healing a priority in a warzone PUG, they get my vote automatically because they're being selfless and contributing towards an attempt to win. Tanks with their 10 medal games get enough imo.

Try making all six huttball scores and getting nadda in medals AND MVP votes... that's a real mind killer right there. Seriously, needs to be more objective points based off how far towards the enemy goal you get the ball, with huge bonus points after the ball is capped to at least show people how you contributed there.

Good players in pug pvp know good healers worth more than anyone else.

I ALWAYS give healers my vote. You know why? Because healing is a thankless job in pvp. There's no glory in it and it's crucial to victory. The only way I can thank them is with my MVP vote.

I vote for healers if and as long as they get far less medals than other players due to the fact game mechanics grant far less medals to pure healers than to the average player atm. And because it is a ****** job in many randoms.

And I won´t vote for any tanking class as long as the player is not the supreme matchmaker because the game mechanics grant several defensive medals extra for doing nothing to the tank classes atm.



The MVP system can´t work in it´s current form because in most cases the chances of someone noticing You playing well are slim.

There are not even messages showing the name of the people who passed, scored goals or tapped doors.
