Who cares if it makes sense? It's the way it's currently implemented, and it wouldn't do a whole lot if it was changed...

The better question is why you are so enraged that people think it doesn't make sense.




By your logic it wouldn't matter if say BHs couldn't have orange weapon, blue would be "good enough" and who cares it is makes no sense?

Like I said the only thing your raging is doing is proving that some people will argue about anything, even something that is clearly an oversight from changing companions late in Beta and will likely eventually be rectified (although threads like this can only get it don't sooner not later).

Seriously... its not hard.

1) Techstaff and Techblade are not moddable, there are none in the game.
2) Because of this, any melee aim using companion CANNOT be made equal to other companions at level 50... they're simply a step behind at BEST.
3) This is unfair for players who want to use these companions, or just like to gear up every companion well but cannot.

Scorpio has it worst. Not even kidding - if you've taken the time to gear up a droid at any point you know what I am talking about. She's both a droid, and she is a techstaff/techblade EXCLUSIVE companion, meaning shes both hard to gear up AND has a weapon that is impossible to get.

The blue weapon is unacceptable, it is NOT a tank weapon. It's a sidegrade to a GREEN weapon. The only alternative, the only real upgrade, is begging an armstech to craft dozens and dozens of techstaff / techblade to get a blue, and then dozens and dozens of blues to get an artifact version. ONLY then will it be a true upgrade, a quality piece.

WHy would you care if they made Modable weapons for AIM companions? How would it affect you? There is no way if would affect you, is the short answer. But you get your kicks from trolling threads, so have at it.
