There wont be any Server transfers or merges in near future, that would be PR suicide. You can either hope that cave in on the LFD topic or reroll on another Server I don't think they would manage to pull off a XServer LFD tool tbh. It feels like whoever knew what to do with that engine left

It feels like whoever knew what to do with that engine left They are already working on a server only LFD tool, there is a reasonable expectation that it will be automated. You won't see X-LFD until they build the servers for that, look for X-PvP queues to the signal as it was in WoW.

It's a shame cause they are going to be bleeding subs until they get one working for the low population/faction servers.

We need RVR in this game, lets make world burn with pvp CE

What is happening is on some servers you can be queued for well over an hour without nothing popping so they are moving to X-server PvP to fix the issue. If it's moved to X-server, it'll allow people to roll on the republic side of a server to gain a substantial advantage which is good.
