Please don't punish me for choosing the wrong server

There WONT be server mergers any time soon. There are far too many people out there just waiting to pounce on this information the minute it drops.

BIOWARE FAILS, MERGING SERVERS ALREADY. ALERT 4CHAN! WE SANK THE TORTANIC.


I feel bad for anybody stuck on a low pop server but only to a point. Game isn't even 90 days old yet and leveling to 50 takes no time at all. Suck it up and re-roll if it really means that much to you, you won't be that far behind. Wait much longer, however, and you are only hurting yourself.

Take this as a lesson learned with new mmo's. NEVER roll on the low pop servers. Que times are a good thing. Again, suck it up and log in a few minutes before you actually intend to play so the que doesn't affect you so badly. They never last more than a couple weeks and after the fair-weather fans drop, the servers left behind are almost always healthy for a good amount of time.

Isnt it you who said "Server merges are the end of the game, you sure don't want those."

A cross server LFD and PVP is worse than a server merge and even you said a server merges are the end of the game.

Why O Why do you want this game to end?

People are missing the underlying problem. Which is WHY so many servers are empty now.

The game stinks at 50. But I am in the same boat OP, I'm just gonna quit for now. If things get better I might come back. This game has problems ranging from design to technical.

I feel ya dawg, I feel ya. I know you heard this before, but I do suggest re-rolling or playing something else until they fix these things. Don't take what's going on right now as a doom and gloom scenario, it isn't, just hang on and we'll see how it goes.

Well i'm a new player and i rolled on a standard server instead of a heavy server, just because my natural instincts tell me standard sounds better than heavy(which is highlighted in red sorta telling people "stop dont u dare pick this server). Now in republic fleet its a constant 9 people on board. So don't punish me for not choosing a heavy server. I didnt know nor do new mmo players. I just rechecked and my server is light population now. Its impossible to find a group. Im not sure if i want to reroll since i have to start over.

that problem is most likely the republic. they are sometimes heavily outnumbered. on some servers they are about equal or even more than imperials, but on most that is not the case :/

The people who want LFD would have trouble finding a group even if every zone had 200 people in it.

well that may aswell be true, since said people already don't use the /who function or join the lfg channel.

oh well.

Well, really empty servers this early is definately not a good sign of things to come. Lets hope for you guys they implement a X-LFD and X-PvP so at least you can participate in some aspects of the game. I find it very disheartening that people are telling this guy to just pick another server, it's a shame.

if you enjoyed the game that much you would just reroll and start again

or wait for Bioware to add server transfers, why should I have to play with some one on a diffrent server that can be a complete arse ninja loot every thing, ninja pull what ever wants and have no come backs???
