But time will tell who is right.
what are you basing this on? Who are you to say where the players came from, and how many are happy? Citations needed good sir. All we can say for certainty is its the fastest growing mmo in history, and it is less than 2 months old and anything can happen. anything else is heresay and your own personal opinion
and if you are looking to the forums for proof of dismay. The forums were always a vocal minority of people who actually play and it has been full of whine and cheese since 2008. Haters gonna hate, it is a internet forum after all.

Go see the server population...I just checked, not ONE heavy population server in all of Europe.

Yeah it's really booming.
It's not much better in the US.

Id ask you to try again. They added more servers on the day of or maybe a day after launch that was the first step and after they added more servers and those started filling up plus they still had the problem with the current servers having queue's they doubled the server pops.

I had a queue on my server a week into launch, then shortly after that it just dissapeared one day, on all servers.

Get your facts straight ^^

Here you go "I want to take a second to correct the reports which speculated that a lack of congestion was a sign of slow participation. Shortly after launch, we doubled the efficiency of each server, allowing us to handle twice as many players and remove the waiting lines. The lack of congestion is a function of great engineering."

The Corsair is listed as standard and is a ghost town.

I know in the us 10:50 on a saturday certainly isnt peak hours in NA, on any given day peak hours will be evening , on weekend that may start in the earlier evening late afternoon, but 10:50 certainly isnt peak hours.

Good for it, standard is a huge bracket. on the lower side its about 750 and on the high end about 2-3000

You have no way of knowing how many servers are on the high end of that spectrum and how many are on the low end and neither do I.

You are going to hurt yourself bending over backwards like this.

Careful.

But yes you are correct in that they are including nearly empty servers as "standard". The "light" server have what, 0 users?

Pretty bleak outlook if you ask me considering the status of the servers...

People seem to forget the game just launched.....it just launched. Servers are plenty plenty full and if they are merged we will have queues again, and in 3 months nobody will even be able to play.
what kind of flip flop embarrassment would that be? "oh we are merging to make the game seem bigger at launch, whoops too full, now we need to make new servers for the new players coming in. it would be idiotic. Standard to very heavy populations on most servers throughout the day less than two months in is perfect, leave some room for the newcomers fellas
