Need Help Please "The code has already been used."

When I go to My Account it tells me I need to register my product serial number but when I enter it in I get the error "The code has already been used." I pre-ordered the digital deluxe version from Origin and got the receipt in an e-mail with the serial number so I don't know how it could possibly be taken already.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you go to 'My Account', then to 'Code Redemption' and scroll down to 'Code History' you should see your already registered pre-order.

The product key will be sent to you by Origin about 16th December.
