With bothans, they would be for the republic they are not in any way neutral. That said, look at the timeline video BTC 18. Battle of Bothawui. The sith attacked their home planet. So why would they be neutral. There was a "300" event for the republic.

I honestly do see plenty of those races being playable at some point. We started our with some basic ones - but plenty models are already out there, so I'd say it's only a matter of time. Expansions + Legacy.. all these hold plenty of potential.
Keep it simple. It will help you get further. ~

Agreed I would be very surprised and disappointed if we don't see new races brought in to encourage people to reroll and replay. While I am sure there are games out there that haven't brought new races in after launch can't think of any off the top of my head with SWGs, WOW, AOC, STO all doing so and games were race isn't so much of a choice like DCUO and CO brought in new arc types in to play. So to get stuck with just near humans would be a major shame.

I want to play as a Togruta or a Cather!! I don't think it would be possible to play as the race that Yoda is..as from what I gather from reading Star Wars Lore..that only four of that race exist..Yoda being one of them.

I want to play as a 6-Pack of Ewoks, no companions just a pack of rabid woks with melee weapons, bows and abilities to summon swinging logs and other traps.

Lets just hope that the Dev's read these posts. Would be nice to know if we wil be seeing any new species from the legacy system or just existing species added to classes.
