It's par for the course for a pvp forum in my experience.

That is what came to mind for me as well.

I never understood why they gave out free Champ items and made the Cent items purchasable with badges anyway, seems like it should have been the other way around.

This way just makes me look back on the 55 levels of Valor I spent before I finally got a 4 piece bonus and think that instead of 3 chap 1 cent I'd have 3 cent 1 champ by the end of it. That doesn't sound very promising at all.

Oh well, I'll have another level 50 by the time this goes live to see how it works out. I look forward to having 8 Champion relics and enough commendations to buy 2 pieces of Cent gear by the time I'm ~50 Valor again.

Over the fact They want you to get T1 Pvp Gear.. Then T2 PvP Gear, Then T3 pvp gear.


People want to skip Tier 1, and go for 2 and 3.


Im ok with this change, i dont have alot of Champ gear either.

Use that gray matter between your ears. Why have Tier 1 gear if you're just going to bypass it and go straight to Tier 2? The first bags you can earn should award the first level of PVP gear (and the possibility of getting an occasional T2 is nice).

This is a smart move, and speaking as someone with two level 40ish characters that will be 50 this month, I fully support it. I'd rather have guaranteed T1 than RNG T2.

It's claimed this is what was asked for, that is incorrect (cetainly in the many threads I have seen, perhaps you can link me to some which support their claim?)

I was not discussing how a system should work, I was discussing how he seems to think this is what we have asked for.

A lot of folks fail to realize that these bag changes are an overall nerf to quality pvp gear acquisition. New players will have an easy time getting centurion gear and a hell of a time getting champ gear until valor rank 60. I already have full champ gear and still get blowed-the-freek up by certain classes one on one.

Reducing the chance of getting a champion item doesn't make sense. They should have made it where you get centurion and champion tokens form the lowest bag (less champion than centurion) or make it where you can get better bags at say, Valor Rank 40.

Now people will just afk farm Ilum more to get up to Valor Rank 60. Centurion gear still isn't worth the effort, unless you suddenly get like 20 tokens in a bag.

Also, you may as well just use PvE gear until you're Valor rank 60. Columi gear is way easier to get than Centurion will be, and it's much, much better.

Telling everyone that disagrees with you that they are screeching does not sound rational.

The reason people are upset is the fact that this fix would've worked ages ago, if they had listened to us then, but now that the majority of players in the 50 bracket have a good amount of Champion gear, it just creates a barrier that can't be surpassed(unless you have godlike luck) until you grind Valor 60.

The only people I've seen get excited over this are the ones who don't seem to understand the vast gap in core stats between Centurion and Champion gear. They think that Centurion gear will make them competitive in PvP, which is untrue unless they are much better than their opponent. I was cutting through Centurion's before I even had a set bonus.

Who wants to fight people in Centurion gear? Let the newbs have it as easy as we did so we can finally have fair-ish fights.
