Pvp gear nerfs are you freaking kidding?!

And the conclusion is.....grinding for pvp gear sux... even if you dedicate time on that. As soon as you reach 60+ and u have full bm, u get nothing till they implement the new tiers. But it sux anyway.

So what? i want a skilled based pvp system gear is just bs. i would love it if they removed/ took it out i dont care if i lost all my peices

People in the olympics may not have the same training equipment, but what training equipment do you have that makes you better at this game? Are you practicing piano scales in your spare time to develop your tactile skills on the keyboard?

the point about the olympics the guy was trying to make, is that the basic concept is two naked greek dudes wrestling it out to simply measure skill, not who has the better armor. This isn't what the pvp system is like, yes skill factors in, but its skill+gear. We're not simply measuring your prowess with the class, its prowess+gear, there's no way to separate the too.

The Olympic comparison is stupid.


Hey...guess what. When they compete everyone uses roughly equal gear. Surprise!

Well over the past month and a half I have been on both sides of the fence. My trek to 50 consisted A LOT of PvPing in wzs so by the time I dinged I was valor rank 42, had saved 1 + 5 champ bags and (at the time) had purchased 7/9 lvl 50 blue PvP gear...which as we all know they took out with no warning or explanation. Least to say the WZ experience I had was VERY frustrating at times due to only 1 bracket and having no gear, I would get stomped frequently....but guess what....I survived! I made it to 50 and started diligently gearing up. EVERY DAY, EVERY WEEK. I can remember saying though...."SCREW EXPERTISE! I wish they would just get rid of the stat all together." Its easy to feel that way when every WZ you que for, you get roflstomped and spend more time in the med center then on the field.

But its been a relatively short time since then. I am now valor rank 65(yes I did purchase the all important Corelias Sovereign) and the ONLY piece of Battlemaster gear I am missing is the offhand...since I am going with 2 pc PVE set bonus (head and boots), which are both Columi. I never did get the Champ main hand...but thats ok. I saved 3 BM tokens off the bat and got my BM cannon. Now that I have over 500 expertise, 1750 aim and 18k buffed health...my WZ experiences are drastically different. Sure I come across some brand new 50's both in my group and on the other team. And I'm sure they are having about the same experience I did....the ones on my team get blown up and the ones I now face do the same.

I am not in favor of this change...not that my opinion means much...BW is going to make bad decision after bad decision apparently. But I am sharing my experience mainly for all the new 50's. Yes I know it's a frustrating time. Yes you will die and die frequently. I did not gear up to BM as a lvl 50 against 1-49 people in WZs. I have not been valor rank 60 for very long (about 3 weeks). I know there are a lot of azzhats out there that will flame you for being in a WZ at all with no gear. I apologize for people like that but if you are taking PvP seriously and being smart about getting gear...they won't have much to say for very long.

All it really takes is dedication to PvP, doing your dailies/weeklies and A LOT of warzones, both before you ding 50 and as you work toward valor rank 60.

Hey...guess what. When I join a warzone to compete, we do NOT have equal gear. Surprise!

It doesn't even have to be 100% equal... but the differences currently are a little bit excessive.

Do you have reading comprehension issues?

The entire point of the Olympic comparison was that the gear should give a massive advantage because they spent the time / effort to grind it out
