That is completely incorrect. Mythic Entertainment was renamed EA Mythic, then cut down and merged into BioWare.

Names aside, people are what matter, and the SWTOR team has key people from Mythic in leadership positions, such the "Lead Designer for Operations, Flashpoints and PvP" Gabe Amatangelo who showed up recently in an on-camera interview with TotalBiscuit.

So, sorry, but while the label says BioWare, the content is BioWare Mythic, and I think it shows.

That's right, you don't. If you read the review, you'd see that it says the game is Grade A all the way up UNTIL 50. Unfortunately, at 50 it stops being a multiplayer "BioWare game" and starts being a Mythic game, particularly in the "big spectacular open world PvP failure" sense.

Do you honestly think negative reviews ruin games? Reviews are nothing more than a form of feedback. Games ruin themselves if they're going to.

well good thing this isnt a pve game either.

Its a single player story driven MMO that starts at level 1 and ends at level 50.
@ Bioware
Stop trolling the EU. Fix the downtimes to the middle of the night and not in the middle of the morning / day.

The review is sadly very true. I personally waited for this game for some time and I did enjoy my way to lvl 50. Now that I have done raids and PVP I have encountered as much bugs as in the launch of AoC (and that is alot). If not even more. These bugs are all over the game from PVE to PVP.

We can maybe forget many of the bugs and say that it is a new MMO and that those will get fixed. But when you add to those gameplay bugs all the mechanical bugs like quests not counting, disconnections, not being able to delete quests, ability delay etc. Then we start to have a huge amount of bugs overall. And all this without even mentioning one of the worst "world" pvp implementations of all time.

There is no need for the arguments between PVP and PVE playerbase. These bugs affect all of us. MMO scene is a brutal one and the problems that SWTOR are facing are very significant. Every lost player equals less money to EA which in turn equals reduced resources put into the development of the game in the long run.

So instead of these stupid PVE vs PVP arguments how about increasing the pressure on Bioware and trying to get them to fix the game.

Do you have what it takes to become one of the few. See for yourself and apply

Speaking of numeric reductionism, do you really think the best way to understand and evaluate a game is by taking everything there is to say about its strengths, weaknesses, multi-faceted gameplay experience, long term prospects, community messaging, and so on, and smash that down into "Pick a number between 1 and 10" and call it a day?

Quantifying a game's "quality" as a single number is an intentional oversimplification marginally useful for making a relative comparison to other, similarly-rated titles. Anything else is a blatant misuse. It is completely invalid and pointless for an analysis of reasons, giving usable feedback, or engaging in a discussion about the actual gameplay issues in question.

Edit: Because, like the guy above me just said, the only good that can come of feedback is helping the developers know what people want them to fix. I don't believe pulling "8.32 out of 10" out of an extremely biased methodology helps anyone one bit.
