Handing them a free ride doesn't fix the fact that they didn't put in the time and I know this is long winded but GIVE ME A BREAK this is BS yeah the only thing is we don't know what they will do in terms of towning down the gear. this could mean a nerf to everything on them stat wise, or they could just change expertise to do something else not increasing damage. We don't really know so we just have to wait and see how they fix it. my oppinion on the matter should be the damage component removed and the damage reduction should just be kept. that way there is an advantage but your dealing the same damage as a normal player. i dont think this solves the problem because pve gear will still work so well in the game which will be a problem going into the future if bioware does not address it(may be a problem now)

We would not mind putting in the work. Does the work mean that we get to be roflstomped in fight after fight after fight with no chance of winning until we have inflated the egos of the people who were lucky enough to be geared before us? THAT is ridiculous. We pay to play this game as much as you do. The current PVP gear acquisition system is lame. With the random bag system being bad on it's own, if I have to go to WZs and get smashed by people who don't even need skill to beat me for weeks to get gear it burns you out and PVP is no longer interesting.

You could also interpret this thread as (bad) BM's whining that they can't compete without a massive gear advantage. Get real. We'll still have a gear advantage, it just won't be as large.

Wow, I did not expect them to actually listen to people and nerf the PVP gear. Regardless of how one feels about it, I think that their intent is to put people on a more even playing field. Like the level 50 bracket, I am not sure that this change will fix PVP. It does show that they are taking their game in a direction that appeases the majority of players rather than the more dedicated ones. I just wonder if they are going to listem to the other common complaints and nerf Sorc/Sages, Tracer Missile, etc. Not sure how I feel about all that....

It doesn't take that long to get the gear anyway. As usual in these games people want everything for no time/effort, in fact on our server we lose 70% of our games.

The only ones who could possibly interpret the thread that way are the Fresh 50's who are whining because BMs took the time to become BM's
