Ahhh. Don't bother about telling me how GW2 went after pinning all your hopes and dreams on a game... AGAIN... I can hear the sound of your heart breaking rippling through space time.

"It's bad enough? Why you believe someone is forcing you to pay $15 a month.

The thing is you CAN'T just fly down to an undeveloped planet. If you played Empire for a little bit you'd know this. I haven't seen a quest that had this explanation on Republic side.

You see there are these beacons that relays information to your ship so you don't crash on the planet. An undeveloped planet don't have this so the only way to land without crashing for sure is via shuttles hence the orbital stations.

I'd like a way to travel that's kinda faster then now but slow enough to still enjoy the ride but with in flight movies and popcorn. What can you do for me BW?

Ways to fix it:

- Add a speeder/taxi point that takes you straight to (into) your ship from any normal speeder/taxi point

(you get a cut scene at the space port speeder/taxi point and then it loads you straight on to your ship).

- Add a fast travel bind point to your ship
(you can travel from any point on the planet to your ship as you can any other bind point on the planet).

Ways to help:

- Move the Fleet Passes off the security key vendor and on to normal vendors.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

I agree, although it shouldn't be instant travel. If we could just get a way to quick travel to our ship that would be a good compromise

Give the droid companion a travel ability.

When you first arrive on your ship, the droid brags about how he can take care of the ship, and fly it anywhere you need. Let him do it.

Give the droid companion a "shuttle flight" ability with a half hour or an hour cooldown (maybe it could share the quick travel cooldown). This ability would have him fly you to the entry point of any planet. Whatever bind point is at the spaceport or the shuttle drop point is where you will appear.

This would provide an in-game way to travel without the mundane time sink for those of us who are only able to play for a few hours every few days. Not everyone is able to pour 12 hours a day, every day into this game.

I understand the need for credit-sinks like repair costs, but there is no need for such a cumbersome time sink. It's a real killer for the casual player.

Yea I think it's a good setup. My only gripe about travel is that hyperspace is tooooo short. By the time I click go I could instantly get up run to my ship exit and click it and exit right when the ship arrives.

That's WAY too fast.

People aren't really reading that post general forums tends to get drowned with a lot of stuff.

Also ship maintenance and ship flight is 2 different things. Who knows if my companions can even FLY anything. Mako is sweet an all but if she can't handle a blaster well she's not handling my Star Ship. No compromise. I don't care how much nookie she wants to give me. NOT HAPPENING.

I don't see any reason why load time and travel time shouldn't be synonymous.
