I've been 50 for a month and yet to find a group for flashpoint.

I have a sentinel alt at level 20 who just pvp's with my guildies and his valor is caped at his level on a daily basis, we've literally run over 500 matches together in PvP including both my toons and maybe 15 PvE flashpoints from 10-49 across the board in my entire life due to the terrible grouping system. Mostly it will be me on a main running a lower lvl guildy through content, which isn't really the true purpose of the flashpoint. Finding real groups takes ages... finding competent groups is almost impossible.

I feel ya, OP. I think if I had to single out any one mechanic despite several things I wish were different I'd single out the LFG Tool as the worst implemented mechanic we have.

As I recall a bunch of the community complained it should be "old school" to promote server community like spamming LFG in chat does that? It just annoys the larger part of the playing community I think.

We're not in the "old school" age of mmos being a new thing now. People value their time and, really, being able to autogroup, flag for instance and quests, and even assemble is a vital part of even running with a lfg tool now. In it's current form it's pretty much useless as half the time people don't even use it since they're more likely to get a response in chat.

I've got to stop now or I'll rant more. I'll just hope this item is somewhere up high on their list of things to fix/improve on because it needs it like the Death Star needed several more guard rails in the interior.

If it isn't going to be cross server not sure how much it will effect low pop servers, most of the 50s on my faction and server keep in contact and hit each other up for hard modes now as I think I have filled in on a few runs for other groups when their dps are missing/rl issues. I honestly hope there is some relief to people like us on low pop servers I would love to see an operation one day.

Why would you even consider spamming general chat constantly? That just annoys people. I'm not much of a grouper but I find it hard to believe you did all that PVP and never found anyone to do missions with. That makes no sense. Were you afk in the warzones?

I didn't even want to join a guild or do the missions or raids. I PvP and next thing I know I'm doing missions and clearing raids. On a low pop server with my Sage

1. Get a real guild
2. Roll something other than DPS
3. While leveling don't be a douche in chat or ninja or you'll find more people ignore you than you think, anyway, everyone hates 'DPS LFG HM' just screams lazy..

I have plenty to do @ 50, dailies, crafting, hardmodes, alts, raids, what more do you want that can't be solved by the first 3 things I mentioned.

People who say nasty untrue things will be reported.. just sayin. it doesn't bother me, but it's really immature and I won't stand for it.

1. What if I'm in a guild with a small circle of very good friends of mine who can't play every night? Am I doomed to leave my friends behind because I want to do flashpoints/operations?

2. I would. And believe me I'm an excellent healer/tank/dd but the missing dual-spec feature makes it hard to tank/heal dungeons while leveling. Because I just like to play a dd while leveling. Is there something wrong with that?

3. Why would you hate someone for looking for a group that way? How is that lazy? He gives you all the information you need without bloating up the chat or giving unnecessary information.

very simple solution: Start your own group at Fleet and spam for people. You wouldnt believe how fast it fills.. Today i spammed LFM HM BT need 2 dps and 1 tank and i swear i got 15 whispers. I just invited the first 3 but it took all of 5 seconds.



Good luck though. Think you just have to adjust how you think of it.

Everyone is more than welcome to state why you disagree with me, but seriously everyone who is coming after me for my opinion needs to drop the personal attacks and assumptions about my character....

It's really starting to become a problem when I read a decent post and the next one is something about how I have a lolFail guild, I am lazy, a ninja, or a terribly geared scrubnut... I should reroll, I'm a liar, a cheat, ect... I didn't try hard enough, I am afraid to lead groups.. please just stop... with all the nonsense... I don't need to justify myself and I would like to point out that all of that is just plain wrong and not true.
