keep in mind companions dont have all the wonderful talents toward damage mitigation, they come with a base of 5% defense, players come with a base of 10%.

The boss hits hard and steady, constantly stuns, and has a stacking debuff that reduces armor that is non-dispellable. and if you get past all that you have a wonderful hard enrage at 5% to look forward to.

for those of you who think this is an easy solo you should try to do it first before you speak. have had lots off people say its no big deal, that they could do it, so then i spawned the boss for them and let them try, still none have gotten him below 80%

BTW Towlie I wasn't trying to knock you, because I myself haven't solod this, so hats off. My comment was more towards the people saying to nerf Sorcerers for being able to solo a "world boss". Still you got me wanting to try this now. I'll probably go heals again and give it a shot. Just out of curiosity, did you put defensive mods on your tank? I use Xalek and have him well geared but only recently realized that absorption and shield rating dont count so he has a ton of wasted stats. I'm thinking if switching all his mods to + defense to bump up his mitigation. He's also using some T1 / T2 gear with absorption which sucks.

Your toon has the abilities that allow you to solo a crafting quest mob that has a lot of hitpoints. Kudos to you. Nobody is trying to take your accomplishment away from you and you clearly feel that it entitles you to high praise.

It isn't a World boss - I have fought it - I know what it can do and I know that my class (not player skill) doesn't have the ability to do it solo. It isn't a great skill achievement - just a difference in tools available.

Revel in your choice of picking a good soloing class, I guess.

You obviously haven't tried to fight him have you?

He's tough.

Very tough...

like any fight once you figure out what you need to do for it, it becomes easy. i solo him several times every day because i enjoy the challange, and it always is.

i suggest you go and try to two man it, you will find out how much this guy actually hurts to fight.
Congrats my friend. Very well done!

most of my khems gear is lvl 49 gear i crafted via synthweaving, i kept REing patterns till i got what i wanted as did always go for redoubt(defense) patterns.

unfortunatly you cant use companions vs world bosses, they become "terrified" upon entering combat with a world boss and just stand there and shake, they dont do anything.

i wish that you could see khems health getting hammered down, the only times his health didnt was when i had reviv underhim + a hot + a channeled heal.

people can say its nothing special all they want, again they clearly havent tried this. one of our main tanks covered in rakata gave this a shot with his healing companion and he got punished pretty hard as well, for any tank to think that the force ghost doesnt hit hard they havent actually fought him, there is no way they could have if they say he doesnt hit hard because he does.

And I'm here to tell you - 100 percent - I have fought him as a Jedi Guardian approximately five times for various people. This includes once when I summoned him for my hit before anyone else was there to heal me, etc. and I was able to hold my own just fine until they arrived.

Is he a solo mob? Clearly not. He has a ton of hitpoints for one thing. Does he hit hard - I guess that is relative to who you are. I didn't think so, I was certainly in no danger of dying to him.

I'm sorry that you feel I'm undercutting your achievement and implying that you are the only one that knows the fight but you are wrong. I've done it enough times to smell an overblown sense of accomplishment when I see it.

the problem with sorc and sage is, even people who don't know anything make the class seem OP - because it is OP :-)

They nerf classes based on -the forums- alone, now they have a video.
Don't get ahead of yourself. Two instances in SWG were able to be soloed. The first IG-88 could be soloed by more than just one class, but the Black Sun ship was only ever soloed by a medic I think who had a bat pet. There was no wailing of medics being overpowered, or beast masters for that matter. In SWG it was an easy thing to respec to a new class, and select beast mastery in the talent tree. Really, nerf callers, (I call them players with a perceived right to an entitlement), are out of control.
