Force Ghost Solo'd

I think it just helps illustrate how powerful healing is in this game, in general. And not just player healing, but companion healing as well.

I'll give a personal example. As a Jedi Shadow, using pretty much any of your companions other than Tharan (the healer companion) for the upper-level class bosses will make those fights fall somewhere between "hard" and "impossible". Pull out Tharan, even if he's under-geared, and suddenly they're easy.

Any non-healer class is extremely unlikely to be able to reproduce these results, even with a healer companion.

Doesn't that guy deserve a better reward than what groups get?

I've soloed 180k hp level 50 champions as lightning spec sorcerer, by keeping force regen up between heals and shield I wonder If I can this guy. My Xalek has 17.2k hps. I'm positive I could do this as heal spec but I'm wondering if I can do it as lightning spec.

go try it lightning, if that fails go try it healing and let us know how that went, i have seen several very well geared players with very well geared companions attempt this and not get far at all.

lowest i have seen anyone else get him to was 82%.

and fyi i have two piece rakata, two piece columi and an exotech helm

I've been two manning this guy easily with T1 equivalent gear (124/126). A powertech with blue/purple lvl 50 gear and me in the same as a hybrid heal / dps sorcerer. Not even a challenge, just takes a few minutes to DPS him down. Now that I'm geared a little better I may try to solo it. If he was kitable it would be trivial. Doesn't surpirse me some 4 man groups have a hard time with this when I see some of the paintlickers that I get trying to run HM flashpoints in lvl 40 green gear at lvl 50. So many baddies, it hurts my brain.

The dislikes are probably based simply on the concept that a world boss should not be solo'd until well into the next xpac which usually trivializes more previous difficult content.

If I can assume boss's in this game are high end, then no one should be soloing them regardless of skill or gear or exploit.

It is a coding/programming issue that you are highlighting that needs to be fixed.

This is not a world boss.. it's a triggered spawn for a crafting component designed for an average 4 man group to kill. World bosses like the one on Belsavis still take a very well geared group of 6 or a raid of up to 12 "casuals"

Then maybe I am missing the hooplah. I saw someone post it was a boss in the earlier posts.

It has 215k hitpoints (roughly) and isn't a quick solo mob but it isn't a World mob either.

There is very little special about it having tanked it numerous times - once solo because I didn't realize the other people weren't with me yet.

Yes, I couldn't kill it as a Guardian because I don't have the DPS to do it solo but it wasn't doing much to me either.
