Bah, forget you. Nerf FTW!
You are overpowered. Nerf yourself before it's too late.

Nerfs are acceptable, its just the people that call for them are bad.

The game needs change to stay interesting and is a way to do some balancing if needed.

There are two options for balancing nerfs and buffs.

When you nerf a class it makes the bads that play that class unhappy and the bads that play every other class happy.

If you buff a class it will make the bads that play that class happy and the bads that play every other class unhappy.

Its about making the most bads happy with any change as they can.

Of course the people that are less than bad dont care about any of this, because they know they will do well in whatever state the game or their class is in.

100% agree with the OP.

I have my own opinion on how a few classes could be slightly tweaked. But I would never cry about it on the forums.

What's even worse than the nerf crybabies, are the ones that tell people they can't wait until their class is nerfed into oblivion. Or feel the need to start a thread talking about delicious tears or some ****.

Only on the internet.

But you'll cry about people who speak their minds and insult them without considering the merit. That's better? Hell, that's all this topic is. Crying like a little baby because you don't like that people have opinions.

Now, player skill is a factor, and you won't always win a fight if the other player is also good, but the last thing a good player does is whine on forums about the strength of other classes, nor do they think that a given class is unbeatable. Good players are not defeatists.

Good players always admit their own mistakes, even if only to themselves. "What did I do wrong there?" "Should I have stunned earlier?" "Next time I have to remember to save my interrupt for their heal, not their channeled attack, I can medpac that." etc.

Good players realize that they are not a "class". They are a "player". Different classes have different pros and cons. Each player has a particular style of combat they like. Good players try different classes (and ultimately, ALL classes) to see which one suits them best. They then work on learning not just the basics, but the nuances of playing that class, against the other classes. "How do I fight a BH?" "How do I fight a sorc?" Even: "How do I fight a Focus-spec Guardian?" They get specific. They get detailed.

tl;dr: 100% of Nerf threads are from bad players, because good players don't need to whine, they learn.
Good to know you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

Thanks for wasting 2 minutes of my time that I'll never get back.

We can at least hope that it gets through to some people.
really cant be sure until we have teams that are common. so far ive seen nothing saying that stacking ops made you win games iver only heard that ops own 1v1.

this doesnt mean they are unbalanced the fact that they dont win games shows how they werent op in group situations

Im waiting to see what is stacked the most in a premade pvp team against a pre made pvp team.

then we will know what is op. If a premade team has all sorcs and bh's (and the equivelent for pubs) then they are op if the other classes cant counter. like if a normally spread team cant beat that comp

thats the only way we can derive op ness. ops needs to play for a bit before they call foul by bioware.

as far as im concerned only at end games do these matter but it is the best way to tell who is op because that is the only time class imbalance becomes an issue at the top bracket of pvp not in pug groups.

i hate to say it but all the people complaining about how annoying it is that there are pugs is because you want it to be easier for you.

if they made you have to group for pvp before you could enter you would see alot let people complaining because at least they would be forced to interact.if anything they should get rid of the ability to queue for pvp and make you have to group up for it. people would be less inclined to suck at that point.

im not good at pvp but i recognize when people who complain have no real reason to.
running is never a bad thing

That's infinitely better.

People that start these "delicious (x class) tears" threads and the people that tell others they can't wait until their class is overnerfed are one step above the lowest form of internet trash in gaming.

There is a huge difference between having an opinion and discussing it like a rational human being than what goes on in this forum.

Wouldn't work. It would reduce, possibly drastically, the number of people queueing for warzones and then, if someone disconnected or quit, there would be no way to replace them (because everyone else queued would be in a group.)

I do wish it was possible to make it so premades played vs. other premades and pugs played vs. pugs though.

Very nice, and what I would expect on these forums. Call the analogy a poor one without refuting it. If there was a way to roll a new forum avatar to be a better poster, I'd assume you'd do so now. You seem like that type of person to look for an advantage.

Not to mention the absolute hypocrisy of your post with regards to the first two sentences, and then the hyperbole you use in your last to stress your point. Well played. No refute, and yet use the same hyperbole as you accuse me of. 10/10.

Your post is a shining beacon of why MMO PvP now sucks.

It's you guys. Everyone defending this thread. Every one of you are ruining PvP.

You've accepted piss-poor.

Are there pathetic players that cry "NERF" at every corner? Sure there are. They are just as guilty. But I would rather hear 10,000 cries on the forums as long as 10 of them are correct in their arguments, instead of dead silence when there are obvious crappy mechanics and features like you suggest.

But to lump everyone in is moronic. Even past that, you're ruining the genre. You're killing PvP, and you don't care because at THIS moment, it's probably benefiting you.

Stop. Seriously, stop.

There are valid issues being raised on these threads.

From mechanics (Buff stacking should have NEVER made it to live), Warzone design (Huttball, really?), to class mechanics in said warzones (Please, one of you tell me you don't have an advantage as certain builds compared to others in Huttball. I Mean, a DRASTIC advantage), to the implementation of Resolve (DR anyone. It's like Frost Shock all over again), to class skills as a whole (for example, level an Op healer through PvP. You can seriously be nearly locked out of healing until lvl 30), Open World PvP (Illum, real fun, yea), to the RNG for gear progression (good idea there). I can go on if you'd like.

But no. You'd rather stick your heads in the sand. Accept crap. Don't worry, everyone will keep playing.

They will. And it will never get any better. Bravo guys. Bravo indeed.
