If it is not your class then you are gimping yourself using an item not for you...if you can even equip that item. So that doesn't work.

If you or your companion cannot equip an item, then you don't obviously don't need it.

"possible"

Possible is not good enough.

+ you can't even summon your companion to equip it to him until after you leave the group, but I can equip it before. For that reason alone I already had more use for it.

Yep, so I'd roll greed on it.

I already told you it is going to benefit my character in it's current form.

HOW it benefits my character in it's current form is MY choice since I am the one who plays my character, not you.

Since you will not be using the item if I win it, I see no reason for the item to make YOU happy instead of me if I win it.

Therefore I will be deciding HOW the item will benefit my character in it's current form.

However, the item WILL be benefiting me in it's current form if I do win it after an equal dice roll.

You should show up at the flashpoint with gear sufficient for completing that flashpoint.

Why not?

You might log off after the FP and never play the game again while I might solo the rest of the game.

The fact is that we BOTH will benefit from the item in its current form and we BOTH helped get it to drop, so we BOTH get an equal chance to win it, otherwise, why help each other run the FP?

I'm sorry but that doesn't work.

If it is not for your class you simply can't use it, why are you needing it? If it is not for your class and you somehow CAN use it, you are gimping your own character. So it does not benefit your character unless you are indeed selling it or ripping the mods out of it, Mods that are probably leaned to benefit the class you took it from.

Also if I helped you beat that boss and you are needing outside of your class I hope to get something better than "I'm going to use it. Deal with it. I'm not even going to tell you how I'm going to use it, I just...will find a way to."

Now you're saying that someone who can get upgrades from a FP is not geared sufficiently for completing it.

FAIL

That's probably the most wrong thing ever said in these forums.

You're just trolling or you don't know anything about MMO games.

How do you think I am going to use it to benefit my character in its current form if I am not going to sell it or give it away or RE or throw it away or let it sit in my bags or bank?

There is only one option - I am going to equip it so it will benefit my character.

If I decide looks is what benefits my character, then why does that matter to you?

If I decide companion stats is what benefits my character, then why does that matter to you?

You would not own the item if I win it, so why do think you would have any say at all in how the item makes me happy?

If someone asks for your help to get something they want (IE: a ball), do you tell them you will only help them if they will use the item in a way that will make you happy??? (IE: you better only use the ball for baseball!!!)

Or do they get to use that ball in anyway that will make them happy? (IE: I want to use the ball to juggle!!!)
