I have to ask, did you turn on the companions' tank stance? With my tank companions, and I have now levelled through two 50s and a 38, I can pound away with my top damage skills with crit adrenals and crit buffs and never pull aggro from them.

And as for micromanagement, all I ever do (very occasionally) is point them at a specific target and hit "attack", and then leave them alone.

QFT. This was one of the features I was looking forward to since this game was suppose to be about choices and consequences. I can understand the decision to remove the companion deaths, but why remove something that most intelligent players would want?

Hopefully, they will reimplement the role kits in the future. Would love for Vette to be a healer and put Quinn back in his cage on my ship (or even better, put in the option of killing a companion if they really really hate you - with role kits, problem solved).

Qyzen isnt ugly...you must look beyond his blind eye that you may see more clearly that he is a cool bro like lizard.

I find your complaint about tank companions very odd. I play healer spec Inqis she loves having Khem as her tank and she can solo heroics with out any trouble. He is great at holdign agro on multiple targets. Constantly pulls mobs off of her even when she is standign off at range distance. She has used Khen to tank in FP up to boarding party. However, she does keep him nicely geared. She is able to heal him and through in spot dps. She is now lvl 47 and still using him as her tank. Yes he does stand in aoe but then i just hit passive to pull him back then attack to send him right in again all is well.
Now Minsc is in charge SWORDS FOR EVERYONE!

If this was true...how did I STILL solo ALL my Heroic 2's up to the level 40 planets? I guess that means I'm a good healer. Honestly I found the change to be minor and CCing the right target plus using the Companion to LoS stuff was also awesome.

I love you...why is there so much hate for Qyzen, I like him honestly but use Iresso instead since he fits my playstyle better.

They should should put Wayne Newton's head on a hutt and make him a companion, try dragging that around for 20 levels, then you'le appreciate Qyzen.

Id like them to atleast let you pick the model driod you get with the ship. Make it so one is pure tank one is pure dps and one for pure healer. This way if you dont get the companion with the right role you atleast have a sub for it til you do once you get your ship and before you go into the harder content. Can always do what i do with c2 and just call Kira for the actual talking and then dismiss and call in C2.

Yeah, it's a joke now. I was so looking forward to Blizz, still love the character, but can't bring myself to bring him out because after every pull he's at least half dead, and I have to regg quite long to bring him back up, while with Mako I can do like 3 normal pulls in a row without being forced to stand around for 10+ seconds. Oh and god forbid you pull some unwanted adds without a healer companion. Whenever I still decide to bring Blizz and happen to pull adds, I usually just make a run for it (Blizz won't survive anyway), with Mako I just Aoe to pull aggro and then pick the additional group apart as well...

Bring back tank companions to their former glory. I don't even care about healer characters soloing heroic content - what's the problem with that? In every MMO there are classes, speccs etc. that are especially good at doing stuff like that (for example Death Knight in WoW, Justiciar-specced Cleric in Rift).

It's not so much the eye that make him ugly, but the snout and the prominent, HUGE nostrils. A lizard companion would be cool, but he looks more like a lurch crossed with a pig.

Dismissing and then resummoning your companion should put them at full health, and takes about 4 seconds. It's not ideal, but it is faster than the regen abilities.
