Why is Character Creation So Bad?

Because when they licensed the engine, it was incomplete, and they filled in the missing parts themselves. They probably can't even update it without breaking massive sections of the game.

We're not running the Hero engine, we're running the Zero engine. We've been asking since the Beta started, and the only answer we ever got, that I saw, was SR flat out saying there were no plans to do so.

Then again, he's famous for saying something, and doing something else. If we get enough player support for it, they'd probably do something to revamp it.
"Due to the massive loss of subscribers in our flagship title, we decided to cancel Blizzcon this year, because frankly, we don't think there's anyone left who would show up."

Except it's there. And the person I responded to said it wasn't there. Try some critical thinking next time, chief.

More options never hurt though.

This! Such a relief after WoW. When I first got the game, after every time I logged out to go to bed or something, i'd first make a random new character. Just because I love creating characters and the many things you can do with the options we have here.

Idd, atfer playing so similar looking, taurens, gnomes, dwarfs, humans, draeneis, orcs, it was very refreshing to see that we all can have different colored humans in TOR.

Character Customization is a major key in any MMORPG. I want my character unique, not the same as everyone else. This was one thing I wanted done right.

Even if the character models is very similar you have to admit it was a good tool to create a unique looking face for your character. It was very refreshing compared to WoW. Only sad part was that you can only make different types of human, making you never feel like another race.
@ Bioware
Stop trolling the EU. Fix the downtimes to the middle of the night and not in the middle of the morning / day.

You just said it was very refreshing and then sad because it lacks options. I think you secretly hate it but don't want to come off as a hater. It's OK, give in to the dark side.

Well scars, hairstyles are same for every race and to be honest, i dont really see other peoples faces at all, but i would like to know what race they are on the first look. They had so many unique races in star wars lore and they put only different colored humans in as playable races.

I personally found the options were better on the imperial side than the republic but that's just me.
Help me, Bio-Ware Support; you're my only hope.
