I've been in a couple VS stalemates, but I don't know what kinda a joke huttball games you're playing in. A SinTank can score nearly by themselves with sprint and shroud plus all the other defense cd's and knockbacks/stuns. And if he/she has a healer they're defeinitely going to score.

Maybe you should take sometime and think before posting. You're ceritainly lacking in the tactics/strategy environment.

Do you realize that you are obviously kind of the only one complaining here? Let me guess, we are all too stupid to see our wrongnesses.

Hint, a few posts above someone has further gone into several technics which might help you broaden your PvP horizon, significantly. Maybe I should use increased font size in red and italic, which some people think makes their arguments more valid. Don't feed the troll (op)...

Lol. Honestly, I have a lot of fun on my alts in the 10-49 bracket. I have nothing against it!

The kind where people purposefully don't score and simply grab the ball first because they know if we HAPPENED to get the ball and score to tie the game, it is utterly decided on who happens to click the fastest when the ball neutrals out.

Or just the kind where teams purposefully try to be complete douches and ride the entire timer out for the sake of being annoying.

I don't disagree with you about the sin tank thing. A good sin tank and a healer partner is devastating in huttball when it comes to sheer scoring ability. Same thing can be said for a guardian + a stealther to charge to.

All that being said, this argument mostly applies to civil war/voidstar, but has its limited instances in huttball.

Perhaps you should bold/italicize/quote/color it for me, because i've yet to see any sort of viable strategy that hasn't been tried and countered a million times by the infinite level of AoE CC in this game.

Just incase no-one has figured it out yet, it is the combination of AoE CC and guard which is the real problem here. Also, someone asked earlier in the thread about what class has AoE fear. I apologize. This is the term I use to refer to the knight/warrior AoE incapacitate. The ability for guard to allow a healer to survive long enough to pop off your choice of AoE CC is just an issue that perpetuates the greater issue. The thread title is was my way of actually getting attention to the thread, which I believe has been quite successful. This isn't to say that I don't believe there is some intrinsic failure with the design and power of guard/taunt in this game, however it is the two combined issues which create the end resulting problem.

There is a pretty huge difference between trolling and giving critical feedback that is lost on the minds of people who can't imagine the situation because they have never run into it. Why? Because they are either too dumb to notice, too low level to play against it, or their server is so backwater that the Pubs have been replaced with Crocodiles and all Imps are now Steve Irwin.

Regardless, the "several techniques" are complete diffused by the "overwhelmingly large amount of CC/Counters" to these given situations.

Except for the one republic team who is the STINGRAY! YEAH!

Hmm. Maybe that was a bit insensitive.

*second edit* Are we now playing Crocodiles, Steve Irwin, and Stingrays instead of rock paper scissors?

He's right though. You got outplayed. You get outplayed. And seeing as I've also seen one of those stalemate situations in the centre of Alderaan and won said stalemate, I realize how rare they are.

The only concern is Void Star, which is a problem because of the relative spawn positions of defender and attacker.

Tanks are ridiculous in pvp.

Guard needs to be nerfed.

Tank CDs should be sightly nerfed.

Taunts need to be nerfed.

I think tanks should be useful in PvP but in their current state they're overpowered. If I had to pick between a tank, healer, or dps to Q with it would hands down be the tank.
