I think the game does have kind of an old school feel to it. Corpse Camping on Illum was so old school. I laughed so much watching the live streams.
What are you on about?

This game has nothing in common with late 90's, early 2000's mmo's, I can camp people in BC2, does that mean that it's like EQ? no.

Wow hardcore PVP is actually quite quite quite Hard. Have you ever tried to do arena 3v3 past 2.2k +? The level of skills, coordination required is higher than any other PVP MMORPG to date.
Bringing 40 people to a PVP lake then zerging the other one. Or any form of Battleground with 8+ people isn't capable of bringing to level of competition and skills involved in small team battle.

Because when you have more than 3-5 people, someone can makes up from your mistakes. While in 3v3 if you make 1 mistake, it's probly over.

And don't talk too fast about wow. Blizzard know how to make real competitive game. Just look at sc1-2. If you never played those game to the full extent of them in term competition you really don't know what you are talking about.

Did... you think WoW was difficult?

Not saying this game is more difficult but WoW is for kiddies. Only thing that was hard about WoW were the 40 man raids and even those got diluted along the way.

Is the class "difficult?" Yes and no. It breaks the rule of being easy to pick up and hard to master, which is my point. But, then, is also plays like a LOT like a BC era fury warrior before WoW decided built in healing was a good idea for the spec.

I'm not saying whether this is a good or bad thing, but honestly, it's just... familiar.
Many higher level or so called "good" sentinels said that prob was biowares intent for only "good" sentinels to prosper at it and I love mine..And I got what your saying easy to pick up hard to master point i totally agree.

The point isnt that its like those games the point is many people played those games and compared to them this game is easy. So when people complain saying this is too hard the old skoolers say it really isn't L2P.

I didn't clarify my Old Skool feel point and I apologize what I meant was some aspects have that feel.. Like my sentinel..It was alot more challenging to get really good at it for me and I havent had that in an MMO for a long time.

This is about PvE leveling not PvP.

This logic is not sound.

Get the same skilled person who mastered a gimped class the controls of a faceroll class.

You get the drift. Classes that are "hard to master" do not gain advantage because of this, often it is just the opposite like a disability/disadvantage you are trying to live with.

There is also no glory for mastering the difficult classes except the one you give yourself to make yourself feel better about it.

And you don't? Wow is the easiest MMO on the market right now. The difficulty in this game feels just about right.
