Why Does Everyone Only Focus on the Negative Parts of tor?

All I see are threads about all of the things people don't like about SWtoR or how they're going to quit it because of a few minor things. I'm tired of all the negativity and discontent toward it and I think there needs to be a thread about all of the good things it has.

No MMO starts out perfect, they could have taken some other games ideas, but I guess some would be complaining that they stole someone's ideas.

It has a lot of good things going for it like a good loot system, a fun leveling system, and fun gameplay. I very much enjoy getting a new piece of armor and looking back at all of the hell I went through to get it be it PvP or Flashpoints.

There are many other things I enjoy such as the contrast between my playstyle as a tank to my friends various playstyles such as DPS or healers and how we complement each others abilities.

There are many other great things about this game, far to many to count, but I was just hopeing to inspire all of you to think a bit more positively than negatively.

Because like the republic, focusing on the positive part's isn't as interesting or entertaining all the time.

True, but always focusing on negativity isn't that fun either.

Since when are forums supposed to be fun?

People focus on the negative stuff here so that they get fixed in the game.

Because we want the game to be great, not mediocre?

Because there's more bad then good?

Novel concept, I know.

Because, by and large, people don't give positive feedback.

I can only speak for myself, but I criticize this game because I WANTED the game to be brilliant. I truly would have loved for this game to have been great so I can give WoW the middle finger and enjoying a new MMO home. But that hasn't been the case. As it stands, after my second month in swtor, that'll be it. The reasons are my own, and others have better stated the failings of this game, so no need to go into that.

So that's my gripe. Guess I put a higher standard on SWTOR because I wanted something to make me completely forget WoW. I guess you can argue that it's not fair to put such a burden on an MMO game that's trying to compete with WoW and its millions of customer base, but thems the rolls.

Because people on the internet have nothing better to do then nit pick and complain.

What most FAIL to realize is EVERY game that comes out has bugs no matter how much you try to correct them. You either suck it up and be patient, be smart enough to invest in things that aren't gonna come back and bite you in the hind quarters, and you try to be constructive in your criticism as best as possible.

True, but quitting after a few irritating problems isn't helping. Also, focusing only on the things you don't like makes you feel like ****.
