I was just speaking in terms of why the queue disappeared. Happened in beta.

Whatever the population is it's no concern of mine.

I make decent scratch, I can afford two subscriptions. I WANT to have a fun alternative to WoW.. but as it is, I feel like I'm just playing just to play.. and wanting to log back into "the other game" while playing..
Sounds like you may need to just step back in March and wait for the improvement. If the game starts to look like it is something worth your money in due time, maybe then you should consider re-subbing. These issues are going to persist for a little while - new ones will come with new patches. It's just the way of things.

I am coming from the other side. I have all 8 slots filled with characters, I have a 50 operative and a 38 Jugg, lots of 20's, and I can't wait to explore all of them. I can't go back to WoW... Like LITERALLY can't (I've thought, once or twice, about re-downloading the client, but just couldn't make myself hit the button). The itch that caused me to leave WoW (the zeal to experience meaningful story integration, and the lack thereof in WoW) has been remedied - for me - by SWTOR. Because of that, it has been easier for me to allow Bioware the leeway necessary to get the issues fixed. That doesn't mean I would suggest everyone give Bioware that same leeway, but it does mean that there are some people out there that are happy with the game, and that some will be willing and able to wait for the fixes to come.

There's no reason why you should pay hard earned money for something that isn't making you happy. Like I said, if you would be happier just waiting for a later date, for Bioware to get the issues resolved and add in more features, by all means you should do it right away. Losing a sub right away that may come back later is much more preferable to having someone stick with their sub only to quit for good due to burnout.

Nice second sentence there. You're a real nice guy. You're a good representative of this "community," aren't you?

Your last paragraph has a lot of wisdom in it.. well I mean really this entire post does, but the last paragraph specifically. You make some good points, here.

Just.. stop. Stop.
No he chose a light or standard server and it stayed light /standard.

I chose a server with a queue (most of them had queues at launch) and now im on a server where im happy with my population because i had the intuition to know that server populations at launch do not equal server populations a month into the game.

Dude. I meant it as I play to enjoy the game and not speculate over the state of it because that's BioWare's job, not mine. I'm just here to have fun, not fret over sub numbers.

I chose a server which also had 30 minute queues the day the game came out. Am I also "bad" for choosing the wrong server since it's pretty much dead, now? How can you fault someone for choosing something at random. That doesn't even.. make sense.

I like how you're using the word intuition when it comes to choosing a server to play a Star Wars game on. You're too funny, bro.
