Man.. you are so full of hate and bitterness. The funny thing is is BioWare will ban me and infract me before you even with swearing and your attitude, simply because you defend their game.

Add that to the list of incredible annoyances.

I thought they mentioned something about increasing server size, meaning the amount of people that can be online at a given time per server...Given this idea if a heavy pop server turns standard over night.....1+1=2

As for the starting areas....You're playing a game that's well past a month old, people are leveling and working on their mains? It seems reasonable doesn't it? I mean why would people roll new characters every couple of days?

They need to do stuff slow.. Nothing worst then creating a new bug with a update.. Sometimes I really wonder why people start a new MMO not expecting problems.. There will always be problems...

The start of EQ I swear for the first 2 or 3 months the server crash EVERY night...

You just cant expect changes over night thats not how MMOs works.
EQ1 is a 1x yrs old MMO, ok?
the software and hardware technique has improve alot,
EX, our company's product,
the service has HA,
it works 7*24 hrs per week more than 1x yrs.
so any MMO should do better than our service, otherwise, it does not deserve ur money.

Because this game is all about the story and creating alts? It's certainly not about end-game PVP or PVE.. BioWare has made that very, very clear.

*Shrug*

Not sure what people expect...

I've read through most of this thread, and now we are picking up bats and walking over to the horse.

If you want a busier world -> Go play a high population server. Not everyone wants that, and they have a LOT of servers, so people can pick what sort of population they want.

If you play a certain time, there are large communities in some servers for a specific crowd. Veela for example, has a very large french canadian server. Ask around if there is a US server that caters to the type of community you are looking for.

Lord Adraas (A fairly heavily populated RP server, consensus is that it is one of "The" RP-Servers. There are about 3 RP servers that are considered the main ones)

7:00PM CST - Monday
Empire Side /who Breakdown (Note that the /who function rarely shows everyone eligible within the parameters specified)

Total=1209 (Lord Adraas currently listed as Heavy)
THESE ARE JUST EMPIRE NUMBERS
Spoiler

Yea telling someone that im sorry they chose a **** server really shows a ton of hate and bitterness. He did choose a crap server if he cares about server population. I dont think anyone can really deny that.

It's useless having a discussion with you.

You're faulting him for randomly choosing a name when the game was released when the majority were all high / full? How on EARTH could you POSSIBLY fault him for choosing a random name off a list?

Just.. stop. Stop.

Lord Adraas has a 3:2 Empire:Republic ratio. Let's be crude and say 2/3 of 1200.

About 2,000 people on Lord Adraas.

*Shrug*

Yeah. I'm satisfied.

Oh, and if server population is such a large issue for him, he should re-roll on a more populated server. If he doesn't, then he clearly doesn't care all that much about population.

That brings up the issue of server transfers. (I'd say limited server transfers)

Don't judge population by the sever load list. They increased cap. The only way to accurately judge the population trends is to monitor the in game population of various zones not just one for a few weeks.
