I agree with alot of what you said.. But the game only going on 2 months.. Rule of thumb with these game..

They need to do stuff slow.. Nothing worst then creating a new bug with a update.. Sometimes I really wonder why people start a new MMO not expecting problems.. There will always be problems...

The start of EQ I swear for the first 2 or 3 months the server crash EVERY night...

You just cant expect changes over night thats not how MMOs works.

Make of this what you want.... but how much endgame pve/pvp do you expect with between 5 and 20 other lvl 50s online at primetime? rofl...
There you have it, really. These numbers are disappointing, and this is a "standard" population server. BioWare screwed up big-time with the amount of servers, and every day they don't do something about it is a step in the wrong direction. See, it doesn't matter if only some of us come to post about it on the forums, even those who do not still EXPERIENCE the same thing..

Well looking at my server list right this instant, I see a bunch of heavy servers... maybe you don't play during prime time hours?
I shot first.

How long do we have to wait for a payable game? How long should we pay BioWare to beta-test their game?
Simple answer: as long as you're having fun!
(If you are, it's not "beta testing" - it's playing the game, and if you're not just leave for awhile and everybody will be happier)

My server was "Full," as usual, last night (and no, it's not one of the really full ones).

I love how people take a look during off-peak hours and think the sky is falling.

Might want to recheck server status, there are quite a few that are heavy. Don't cry doom just yet.
Vehicles in SWTOR are NOT mounts.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Most MMO's in the last decade had horrible launches (except for Rift, which stands as the lone exception). The patches have to come. If they don't come, there will eventually be no reason to stay subbed. But that only leaves two options:

1.) Stick with it. Enjoy what content is available, and if the bugs don't affect you, bear with Bioware while they repair the issues for those that are affected.

2.) Unsub. Come back later when the issues have been resolved. Wait for Bioware to get things ironed out and maybe come back in a few months to a year to see if the changes improve your own personal experience.

The thing is, not everyone sees this transitional period as reason to run off into the night shouting obscenities. Personally, I'm subbed until March. If nothing truly game breaking happens between now and then, I'll probably re-sub and continue to watch the ongoing progress of the game. Of course, I never went in expecting a smooth ride. Somewhere deep down I always knew there would be some nasty bumps along the way - and boy have there been some nasty ones.

Not all people who defend the game are doing it out of blind loyalty. Some just honestly are content enough with the game - even with the issues - that they feel the need to point out that, "Hey, it's true - there are indeed people that actually like the game, are still subbed to it, and aren't jumping ship anytime soon. Just throwing that out there."

Being real about the state of things isn't the same as being negative or overly positive. Being real just means you accept the reality - how you take it is all up to your own individual prerogative.
Thank you for the intelligent post, I appreciate it. I also have subbed until March, and in a sense I almost feel like a sucker.. like I'm BioWare's target and they "got me." Yes, the story is decent and although it does get old after your main character, it's a novel idea and clearly a lot of time / work / money went into it. I'm in this for the semi-long haul.. I make decent scratch, I can afford two subscriptions. I WANT to have a fun alternative to WoW.. but as it is, I feel like I'm just playing just to play.. and wanting to log back into "the other game" while playing..

Here you go, ill gladly post my server stats for you personally again:

Axial Park server. East cost.

Rebublic: 25 people on fleet. 11 lvl 50. players online across all zones.

So goodluck sugarcoating this, i would love to see some positive sides to the situation on that server, as i have no doubt you have some.
